How to Program the Door Code on the Ford F-150

- Here's how you can set a personal door code on the Ford F-150. There are 2 ways, with the keypad on the outside of the door and on the touchscreen if you have a truck with the SYNC 3 system.

You would need to go to your dealer to have it disabled
I programmed a personal code on the screen. When I press the keypad it does not light up or unlock. Although I am able to lock pressing the 7/8 buttons. Is it possible I have the wrong card with factory number for my vehicle or something wrong with the keypad ?

You will need to get the code by having a dealer pull it for you.
The code should be on the passenger side behind the trim under the glove box it’s on a white sticker. Just look up a video on where to find it. That’s how I found mine

Yes, it needs to be a 5 digit code
For "less digits" try 00123 or something similar
What if you had the BCM replaced and keyless entry quit working after this? And the factory code doesn't work!

I bought a used 2013 F150 and don't have the door code. How can I get the original door code, and can I change it on the 2013?
Here is something I found on the internet, I haven't tried it yet but you may try that. I do know there are videos on youtube that tell you how to find the factory door code. Also, the ford dealer can get it for you.
Insert the key in the ignition and turn it to on position for about 5 seconds (don't start the car). After 4-5 seconds, turn off and remove the key. Now insert the second key into the ignition and turn it to on position. After few seconds the factory key code will be displayed on the instrument cluster display screen.

I just got a 05 f150 and I want to get rid of the code the past owner had but when I do the factory code then hold 1-2 it only erased the new code I put it. Any help?
There should be a way to clear out all existing codes. You might Google it.

Any Ford dealer can pull the door code for you. I think it is on the vehicle somewhere. You might google your truck year and see if there is a video out there on how to pull that code.

What size rim and tire is on this truck
That truck had 20" wheels with 35" KO2 tires. Not sure where it is now, it was traded in on an F-150 Lightning and then sold about a year ago.
So there's no way to erase the factory code?

A dealer can pull the master code for you and I believe it is stamped somewhere on the truck. You might google your year and door code location.

There are some videos on youtube that show you how to get the master door code and a dealer can pull it for you as well.
