Still ridiculously impressive regardless that we could speculate, he went up against a bigger dude who's one of the best ever in muay thai, and completely forgot he was even having a muay thai round until the ref reminded him. Grappling (especially greco roman wrestling) requires absurd physicality and technical expertise. You can be like Deontay Wilder who has a mediocre technique (for his competition obviously) but be a dominant force granted by his freakish athleticsm in boxing.

@@srksharma8199 tbh i'm not sure which is harder to train wrestling or kickboxing. But fighters that start wrestling from a very young age have a huge head start over the competition. Colby, cejudo, cormier, khabib, jon jones, aljamain sterling, usman, list goes on and on.
DJ might be the most underrated fighter ever because of his size. But he’s such a beast and every part of his game is always technically perfect basically.

Fr from experience standing up with muay thai fighters is the hardest just too many weapons that are deceiving and the way they can chain their combos into clinching and u don't know if its elbows or trips that are intent to be used but yeah overall just a fast paced fight
