GTA definitive edition had so much potential. Could’ve fixed the annoying bugs the originals had, add in cut content, new content, and so much more. Such a disappointment.
@@K_D_A what is even more horrible then the game is the Rockstar fan boys that defend I legit had 1 guy say its not as bad as the original and call me a kid who never played it and said I had no idea what I was talking about im 28 I was in middle school at least when gta san andreas came out and know full well it was not a mess these kids need to learn there coming in on our childhood just because they play gta online all day and use there parents credit cards on shark cards they act like they know everything about the series but they dont and just want to feel validated for a game they came late to the party for

@@B1inded3agle__ grove street may have made the game but Rockstar was in charge of it going out the door and handing it to them so no still on Rockstar they knew full well what they where pushing out the door this is on them just as much as grove street if anything its more on them because they should have known better this studio messed things up for the mobile port and the 360 port as well they have had a history of this and Rockstar handed the game to them anyway just because there hands are not on the tools doesnt mean they did not give the order for it to be made and sold like that dont defend there stupidity I get your a fan boy but dont be ignorant and make excuses just to defend them
A delayed game is a good game but a rushed game is..... bad. I may not fully understand it, but it is true.

Every time I look at Sonic '06, I see so much potential. The music is awesome and the level design is pretty solid. But the ugly visuals and character models, the animations, the story sucks, the controls are abysmal for most characters, hub worlds are huge and everything looks identical to each other, the LOAD TIMES, the side missions aren't fun in the slightest... just everything else about the game that _could_ have worked if Sonic Team had more time on their hands.
I've heard that some guy is working on making a better version of Sonic '06.

Yes, Sonic P-06 is incredible! Right now developer finished Sonic and Shadow storyline and on his way to finish Silver`s story. Played the original game and this remake/remaster feels like almost finished game!

I actually liked enter the matrix. I thought it had enough difficulty and it expanded the story of the movies. It also had a lot of Easter eggs. I thought it was cool
I loved this game, the gameplay wasn’t always smooth but when it worked it was really fun

Oh boy. Aliens: Colonial Marines had so much potential from the demo but wow was I disappointed. I think I let my nephew borrow the game one day and I never got it back, but at least I don't miss it.
Hot take: I think Sonic '06 had potential as a game. I think that if they re-released it, or spent more time ironing out the kinks, I definitely think it would much more successful. 'Cause looking at playthroughs of the game, it looks very beta test-y. I think if SEGA had a bigger budget and more time, that game would have been amazing.
Not happening. SEGA and Sonic Team have pretty much requested that everyone pretend that this game never existed. And let's be honest, with THAT kind of story, no one wants this game to ever come back.

Thanks to warcraft 3 reforged, and now its not even an awful game anymore with the fixes.

_GTA Trilogy_ really was a disappointment because Rockstar thought that while we're waiting for GTA 6, this would be a good version to play.

Really nice video. Totally cool. Okay, first to Spore. I admit, the space part is such a long journey into the lost, but I always enjoyed the rest of the parts-especially the tribal part. Plus, the datadisks have made it even better. It's cool to have monsters that have tools and are trying to get their piece of the glory. To GTA and Warcraft, I'll say one thing-they're on their own. They were too greedy. A beautiful example of a remake-and that's what it's supposed to look like-is Mafia Definite Edition. Absolutely brilliant graphics. An immersive story-which is also very subtly altered to give an even better experience. Great Czech dubbing-I know, you probably won't appreciate it, but our dubber literally outdid himself in it-he dubbed the previous version from 2002, but the American one is great too, in my opinion. And since I love mafia movies about Italians, like Goodfellas, my vote counts! Well-written characters-especially Sarah, who I'm really loving right now. I'm a bit annoyed by the save system and the lack of original music, which is absolutely legendary. Compared to GTA, it's totally cool. I absolutely love the atmosphere of 1930s America.
How can they NOT put cyberpunk 2077 in 2020... It was probably one of the biggest disspointments in gaming history

2017: I would've thought Mass Effect Andromeda would make the list since it was Number 1 on your Top 10 Disappointing Games of 2017 while Battlefront 2 was only Number 2. Plus, Battlefront 2 HAS gotten better from what I heard. What with having ALL characters and vehicles (say for a single skin for the Millennium Falcon) unlocked from the get-go. Nonetheless, it is a relief that EA has lost the license.
2020 and 2021: Removing access to their original games is basically their way of saying "Either you play THIS version, OR NOT AL ALL!" When the only way you can get people to play your game is at gunpoint, ITS NOT GONNA BE WELL LIKED!

Yeah cyberjunk made others studios delay. Warcraft made people say business as usual for blizzard flops.
Yeah given how much it was being called out for all the bugs, missing features & scrapped mechanics (rip wall climbing via mantis blades), one would think CP:2077 would’ve ended up here.
Then again, WC3:Reforged not only suffered through similar (but not as extensive) issues as CP did, but also ended up changing the original release of WC3 as well to suffer the same fate.
I disagree about Enter the Matrix, I enjoyed that game at the time as a kid. Maybe as an adult at the time playing it would be disappointing but I still remember it so it was definitely not forgettable. I guess this is just my opinion though.

Alien Colonial Marines is a massive example of why proper coding is so important. One number, one single fucking number was what tear the whole thing down.

I love all of those. People hate on Enter the Dragonfly, but I've actually owned two copies that have barely glitched, somehow, and I still don't mind replaying it. Wrath of Cortex was only flawed, for me, because it tried too hard to be like Warped, my favorite of the series, though it still succeeded in a lot of areas, and I love it, too. Twinsanity is my second-favorite of the franchise, meanwhile, and The Legend of Spyro Trilogy is amazing, in my opinion. At the time, the graphics, cast, story, and music were some of the best I had ever seen/heard. I realize there are other games back then that succeeded at that better, but at that time, I loved that trilogy and it was mind-blowing for me. I always cherish replaying the Spyro and Crash games, and I hope Spyro gets a new game one of these days.
I never could get past the post office level in The Matrix game. I couldn’t figure out where to go once I got to the mail sorting area.

Jesus I remember daikatana when it came in our store (electronic boutique) and how fast everyone who bought it tried to return it.
Resident Evil 6 is one of the generally hated games that I like, due to much characters I can play, and the AWESOME combat gameplay.
I completely agree its actually one of my favorites due to the assortment of characters and fun gameplay. I mean it's different but that's not always a bad thing.
I never understand why people hate this game so much, It has the most Fun gameplay in the series! For me it's the 3 best RE game

Spore was promised to be sooo much more than it ended up being. Will Wright envisioned the ultimate sandbox game, but it ended up being a bunch of mini games strapped together, poorly

Sonic 2006 seems like a bad fanfic wish fulfillment. Watchdogs, in addition to the other factors was just that the MC was simply thoroughly unlikable and responsible for all the bad things that happened in his life and the game.
Well thankfully I only ever played one of these games (RE6) which was alright for what it was, just not what it was supposed to be. It was following 5 which was slotted between horror and action, and trying to capitalise on similar games of the time. Still, we had fun.
Most of the games on this list are my absolute favorite games. Except ones that I haven't played yet lol
I have to disagree, I actually liked Fallout brotherhood of steel. It was not perfect, but to me it was still a fun game.

I intended to pick it up.. did it have a patch? I could care less of graphics. I just dont want to screw around if it will freeze or whatever.. the glitches looked kind of funny.

In my opinion, and me being a Nascar fan. The dissapointing game of 2021 was Nascar 21 Ignition. Bugs on tip of bugs, and bad gameplay made Ignition pretty bad.
Enter the matrix was a big pain to sit through twice. First with niobe and then with ghost. I was a big matrix fan back then. And enter the matrix was a lore addition to the universe like the animatrix. Didn't know if the characters split path, so I played it twice to get the whole story.🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I'm so glad I didn't bother with "upgrading" Warcraft 3 into the reforged version. In the 2000s when I was a teenager too Young adult, my friends and I used to play Warcraft 3 The Frozen throne all the time because it really was my favorite game of all. I intend to return to live streaming both reign of chaos and Frozen throne as soon as I can, but I have other things going on anyway.
To be honest One of the reasons why I didn't want to deal with Warcraft 3 reforged actually had to do with my disappointment in starcraft remastered. I know people loved it, but all it seemed to be to me which the graphical update with a new ladder system. They didn't improve the controls to stop being 1998. Look don't get me wrong I played a whole lot of starcraft through war throughout the 2000s and even played it throughout the 2010s, but since playing starcraft 2 with the improved controls, I honestly wish they would have made starcraft remastered have these improved controls and better AI. I mean the dragoons are still complete morons.

Gta trilogy was an insult to the original games. I got my wish before that I wanted this game but rockstar spat on my face.

Cyberpunk was one of the most disappointing games ever with fans hyped for it for almost a decade. Warcraft III: Reforged was definitely subpar, but Cyberpunk was the most disappointing game of 2020 by a long shot.

Spore is my favorite game lol. It was great when I was in elementary school. Probably not great as an adult; it seems like a game that’s great for children but not necessarily for people who are older and would want a more complex game.

I can honestly say I've only played a single one of these games: Duke Nukem Forever. And, while it was disappointing, I still don't think it's as bad as some people seem to want you to believe. Hell, it wasn't even the worst FPS of 2011. I think Call of Juarez: The Cartel was FAR worse.

A lot of ppl say 06 is bad and I can agree but I really love the game, the gameplay was glitchy and buggy but I liked it, if they didn't make the relationship between sonic and Elise so freaking cringy at least Silver's, shadow's and most of the final story was enjoyable but the music is the best part I give 06 7/10

I hate that 06 is still used as a stick to batter the franchise with. It’s 15 years since then and there are some great titles throughout that period. Looking forward to Frontiers!

Once again I loved RE6 because it wasn't based upon horror that's the point it had monsters and zombies so it stuck with the franchise
