Thank You. I'm a bee keeper. I do some of the things You were sharing. Knocking on the hive before going into it . The biggest thrill is to see the Queen. And I do talk to Her with respect. Love it !

I have been a beekeeper for years. My father gave me his 2 hives and I remember him putting his hand on them and whispering them a safe trip to my place. My bees did well for several years but died because of the fields poisoned by the chemical stuff poured on them by the farmer next door. I was sad and angry when this happened. Thank you for the story tod, Gordon.

I’ve always been fascinated by bees since I was a young man. When I lived abroad in southeastern England a number of years ago, are used to go and have a cup of tea and a good chat with the local beekeeper and during the summer months he would leave the windows open so that the bees could hear whatever we were talking about. At first I chuckled a bit and thought this was rather odd but I came to except it and actually found it to be fascinating. He told me not to offend the bees because you never know. Anytime he had news he would go until the bees straight away. Yes beers also produced some of the most delicious honey I’ve ever had. About five different kinds. On a sidenote, when I was serving in the military many years ago I remember taking a trip to some of the Greek Islands and found that the honey be featured prominently in local Goddess Worship

My Aunty told told the bee's about my Granny's death. They never left. Grandad was given the job of master. They had the most productive orchard/farm in Ireland.

I was just wondering today what this meant in relation to the next Outlander book! Thought maybe it had something to do with the buzzing sound Claire and others hear when they get close to the stone. Now I’m thinking it has to do with a main characters death 😢 hope I’m wrong!

You'll know soon enough, Prentiss, when the book comes out later this year! All will be revealed! Kind regards, Gordon
