This is their first trophyless season since 2011/12! Worst of all this has all happened after signing arguably the best striker in the world Harry Kane. Regardless of the disappointing domestic performance from Munich, sometimes you just have to sit back and applaud the opposition. Bayer Leverkusen won the league for the first time in their history, after just 29 games but not only this, they achieved this while going invincible!

Bayern became champions last year with 71 points, this year they gathered 72 with one more game to play. Last year they lost in the quarter finals of the champions league, while this year they reached the semi-finals and had not the assistant referee raised his flag too soon, who knows they might have one it. So they actually did better then in the previous season.

Yes, they lost the aged goal machine Lewandowsky and simply thought they would first and foremost need Europe‘s new goal machine, namely Harry, the Kane. And that, Ladies and Gentlemen, was a very lazy and uninspired move. Poor Harry who scored as ever couldnt fully compensate for the serious problems of the cadre that lead to the relatively poor seasons of the last two years.

I read that harry kane will finally get a trophy for been the leagues top scorer before bayerns last game, isn't that the same as winning the golden boot in the premier league, individual titles or trophies don't count harry I'm sorry, football is a team sport so until he actually wins a trophy with the team, whatever individual trophies like the leagues top scorer don't count for much when you don't have league titles to show for it, he's scored 249 goals for spurs (213) and bayern (36) and he has to be the 1st player of his caliber to score that amount of goals and not win a single trophy for spurs or bayern
