Good video first one I’ve seen that showed that little key release I’ve had the problem of being locked out of the front loads of times with the car standing and the alarm draining the battery out. Don’t understand why Porsche didn’t fit a cable operation or at least electric and a cable backup option if they wanted to be flash with the electronics they must have known how quickly their alarm system drains the battery. I liked your video on cleaning the soft top as well.
@@Cuttothechase It did! I had my 987 on a trickle charger for winter. Went to go fire it up for the first time and completely dead. Turns out a box had fallen or been placed on top of the charger and turned it off, much to my annoyance. The battery is completely toast. Key got locked in the ignition. Following your video, I was able to get a second battery connected to release the frunk. Kinda nuts the hoops I had to jump through to pop it open, but at least I got it. Cheers!
Thank you this really works, all others were rubbish at giving advice.
Thanks for taking the time to let me know.
