Hot tip for Volca Sample owners. To save tonnes of RAM, speed up all your long samples pitch x4 then they take up MUCH less space. To play back normally in the Volca just slow the pitch down again !

Simon! my god, i was about to sell all my Volca's as i was making so much unlistenable rubbish, but came across your tutorials and have learnt more in one afternoon than in the whole 10 years i;ve had the Sample, FM & Bass! you're a genius mate! seriously! but at least the world will blame YOU for making me make more 'music'! thanx again! Excellent tutorial! Thankfully there are people out there doing the good work. I put aside my Volca as I had too much else gear to deal with. I need you get back into it and this is a good place to get up to speed. Thanks again.

My Volca came today. Manual? Nope, watched this one and now that cute thing grooves. Now I`m going to put some good stuff on it. Hopefully it won`t be full that fast. Thx a lot for this tut.
Hey man! Thanks a lot for this tutorial. I'm trying my best to learn more about your video. The only problem that i have is to transfer new samples to my Korf sampler. What kind of sync cable do you use? I've tryed with 2 diferent one and nothing. Thanks¡ you in advcance if you can help me with this 🙏🙏
Superb tutorial, thank you. Just a basic question, if I have edited one or more parts, for example changing the sample that it uses and adjusting parameters, how do I save these so that when I turn the machine off then on again it retains the changes I have made?
hey! thanks for the tutorial! I have a question please help me with this. I´ve already created melodies in my volca sample and I use them in live shows but im scared about connecting to the vosyr because I don´t know if the program is going to delete all I have in the memory of the volca and replace them with the original bank of sounds or if Vosyr will read all I´ve done and save without losing my melodies.
I love Volcas yeah, I've got keys kick drum and nod sample, so I'm not hating. But.... Why don't they all have that bloody song mode man, it would make drum and kick so much better.
What cables do you need to sync 2 volcas and what cable does it use to get samples into it as I just bought version 2 and it does not even come with power or USB cable
It should of came with sync cables there the same size as stereo cables or head phones otherwise check out the Belkan rockstar to sync everything to the main source

A classic trick for those of us used to 90s and 00s samplers. I pitch up some longer samples 2x only, but a good trick nonetheless.

Should just be a case of overwriting the memory slot it's stored in
What about audio pocket and caustk edited apps for this machine as I don’t have my pc at the moment I have iPads and iPhones

It should be fine, should only load in what is already on the device
Does it have filters?
Thanks!
unfortunately the numbers of sounds in volca sample do not match with the numbering in sw. so its hard to identify user samples.
A bit disappointing that there is no chromatic mode in this thing, you have to fake it with the speed knob.
Is that possible use iOS 15 to transfer samples to the machine? I have korg app, but its not working to transfer nowadays
Not sure, you best of using the recommended software like vosa

Can you sync this with pro tools?
You could use midi clock, so yes via midi you could. You'd have to send your clock from pro tools

Atleast 9 volt plug in s are around ten dollars but they should really come with them!
@@teatime2595 Why should they ?
Even expensive mobile phones don't come with power now !
Sounds like it's made for 10 songs 100 samples : 10 different songs
