    Thank you so much for this! You not only made everything super approachable, but also didn't trip over explaining the various modes! One of the best music tutorials of any device I've seen on TH-cam! Instant Sub!
    I ordered one of these because frankly I love the size and aesthetic! Also, I've grown quite tired of modern stupidity requiring apps and internet connections for everything, not that DAW's aren't useful, just that I really have come to appreciate equipment that serves a singular purpose with physical controls and puts the outcomes in your hands.
    Super excited to start messing around with mine and plenty of notes to reference! You are awesome!

    This video is awesome. I'm new to the volca sample2, and I'm kind of old school, so it's a bit of a learning curve for me. You make this easy to understand. My primary genre is ambient type music and being able to use samples on a sequencer seemed to fit what i was looking for. Many thanks for the instruction video, and I'm looking forward to learning more.

    kudos for good explanation that covers really everything about the sampler, without wasting time, only useful information with fast clear speech (wich is freaking satisfying to hear. a guide maker with fast speech and excellent diction, like, really saves your time). like and subscribe, love ur work.

    Brilliant I've been considering this unit for a while. To use with my Yamaha REFACE DX to bring it to life. As I create all my own drum and bass sounds on the DX. This will turn them into rhythms. Then I can play my other parts on top. Love it.

      Hello. Im also considering a hardware synthesizer to go alongside the Volca Sample. Not sure exactly which one, but the Reface has come to mind. Do you think it would do justice to the Volca Sample? I like the faders of the reface, but it's all I really know about it.

    This is excellent. Just starting out with a Volca 2.. first foray into sample land (unless you count recording weird sounds from the TV into a Boss loop pedal). What I'm seeing here with the Step mode are similarities to programming my Roland T8... which is a bit of a confidence boost.

    • @XNBeatsMusic
      @XNBeatsMusic  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, no problem. The coffee is optional. I really don't remember. Usually when I record a gear it goes back to the owner or goes for sale after while. I recorded this video a while ago, but...If you modify the sample ins some fashion, it doesn't truncate the original sample. So, I don't think you can.
      Maybe recording the output to a DAW and the saving it.
      So far, I've only seen the "truncate" option on major samplers like DIgitakt, MPC and so on and on.

    • @XNBeatsMusic
      @XNBeatsMusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This has no microphone, so you cannot do it that way. But if you want to record the sound from the SAMPLE 2 to FL studio, you can but you need a mic in. The jack is the small one, almost all PC's have that in. If you are going to start working with synths and DAW, my recommendation is ....get a sound card. Is the first tool you need to get after a working computer.

      @ArigatoToMyHomies ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, all 200 internal memory slots csn be loaded with your own sounds. In order to do this on the Volca Sample 2, users need to use an iphone with the Audio Pocket App. It's cumbersome at first, but after getting used to it, it has its own charm! Highly recommend.

      Yeah the light are just killer. But you can fix it by putting a thing painters tape on top. I didn't because it looks bad on camera. But a lot of people did that. When you are in an environment where you have a lot of light , they are not that bad. But in the dark, they are really bright.

    What wire are you using for the out to get stereo?

    • @XNBeatsMusic
      @XNBeatsMusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, it's just a regular stereo jack, the normal headphones ones.. But, that is one end. The other side divides two 1/4 for left and right.
      Something like this: www.swamp.net.au/swamp-stereo-1-8-mini-jack-to-dual-1-4-cable
      Of course, is going to an audio interface with two in's

    I think you missed something from the usb midi setup - its hugely problematic . The korg usb driver I cannot get to work and the miscrosoft version does work but with some trouble !

I have a HP pavilion laptop a few years old and I tried downloading the driver and even the uninstall midi from korg but it looked like they only had the uninstall for MAC OS.
