I have the same feeling that other time when I was away from Singapore for a period of time and everyday looking forward to my return to Singapore. During that time, I already can feel the happiness the moment I took my first step onto the Singapore Airlines plane departing for Singapore. It already feels like in Singapore during the flight back home.

Welcome back to Singapore! Now sure how long you have been away, but in Singapore you will need the Grab app for food delivery and transport etc if you have not. The food delivery options have gone up a notch every since the pandemic started as many people relied on it greatly.

Yeah totally agree with the sentiment on the announcement of "Welcome home"... 👍 Back in the 90s we were in Australia for 40 days on military manoeuvres, and finally it was the end of the exercise and we loaded up the military transport plane (a Hercules C-130) for the long 12 hour plus flight home. While still in the air over the open ocean, the pilot announced - "Gentlemen, we're now in Singapore airspace. Welcome home!" (no ladies 😁) and yea we all let out a whoop of joy - YES WE ARE HOME!
@@TheKrazyKoala Not on that military flight 🤣 Only combat troops were on board, and no females in the combat formation in that exercise. Support staff (which had female staff) were on another flight to depart Australia a couple of days later.

Only been there a few times, and I'm always excited when I land and sad when I leave. Curious, what time did you arrive? The nonstop I see from SFO leaves in the morning and arrives around 5 pm local time. I'd think I'd much rather take the red-eye with one-stop so I can arrive before noon.

Welcome back to Singapore! When I landed Singapore last March I almost cried because I know I’m going to miss US. My brother warned me I won’t enjoy the weather and life in Singapore. He said I have to make $30K a month to live the same comfortable life like in US. The food portions is like feeding birds. I have to struggled to get 2 portions of meals during my quarantined in Swissotel. I’m so thankful to Singapore provided me free lodging and free meals for 14 days in a 5 stars hotel. No one was wearing mask during that time and no COVID test required. I only get one phone call a day checking me if I’m alright. No BS and what so ever. I’m blessed. Now I know why you called Krazy koala😆

Welcome back to Singapore! When I landed Singapore last March I almost cried because I know I’m going to miss US. My brother warned me I won’t enjoy the weather and life in Singapore. He said I have to make $30K a month to live the same comfortable life like in US. The food portions is like feeding birds. I have to struggled to get 2 portions of meals during my quarantined in Swissotel. I’m so thankful to Singapore provided me free lodging and free meals for 14 days in a 5 stars hotel. No one was wearing mask during that time and no COVID test required. I only get one phone call a day checking me if I’m alright. No BS and what so ever. I’m blessed. Now I know why you called Krazy koala😆
