Very nice tips, I'm just wondering what thickness wire you'd need if you were gonna make wings for a Golden Snitch model, the wings would only be about 5 inches long with a bit of EVA foam glued to it so I want to bend the wings a little bit, just a slight curve, what would be strong enough to hold its shape and staying light in weight please?
Thank you sir...we use the same wire...please help theUG level students n if u can also upload lectures on Orthodontics ...So that we can have complete program..using Standard text in orthodontics ..please sir its a request ..
That is a great idea! I never thought of just starting with the basics of the ortho lab like terminology and theory. I will try to start on that. Im starting to feel this need for an ortho lab training around the internet, the dental lab school that i attended is shutting down i feel that this need is going to get greater. If anyone is interested check out my blog at www.DesignerRetainer.com there you can get more information about the ortho lab.
Here are the pliers that I use to wire bend. blog.retainerdesigner.com/?p=1348 I used .030 wire from JBC and Company, here: jbcandcompany.com/shopexd.asp?id=1010 Happy Bending!

Yes. If you mean how to straighten a wire after you bend it? Sure thing. Check and see if my conversion of the gauges is correct (We use tenth of inches here in USA ortho labs). .036in = 19 gauge, .032 = 20 gauge, .028 = 21 gauge. This sound correct?
Foarte interesante si instructive demonstratii!!
