It's so sad she was forced to marry an old man at 14 while Caitlyn got to marry young ned.
At least he treated her well
@@chideraalexanderdex547That really doesn't make it better
@@chideraalexanderdex547 doesn't make it better plus he's a martial rapist
@@zinkheroofyoutube8004 i think it does, considering the time period and the nature of marriage at that time
@@chideraalexanderdex547 No, it doesn't
He still forced her to get pregnant constantly, despite her many miscarriages, which considering the time period was more dangerous then it is today
Basically, king's landing made her batshit crazy
Hanging out with Cersie would do that to you
@@lonemotheo1964 good point
I think Littlefinger probably manipulated her into being paranoid, to make it easier to control her.
It didn't also help that her father forced her to have an abortion, that is implied to damaged more than mentally resulting more miscarriages.
@Ruosteinenknight Jeez I may be pro choice especially if the pregnancy is from rape or if the mother's life is in danger but forcing someone who may want to give birth? That's just cruel and I doubt abortions were safe in that era
Jaime would never marry her
not blond enough and didn't share the same womb
The Blackfish had a better chance with Jaime 😂
Hahahaha I was about to say no wayyyy. She was fineee. Not more than Kat but she was fine but Jamie ain’t marrying none of them girls lol.
@@videobooks3hahah yes!! Hahaha. When he got sent to riverun to become familiar with them and probably like them, he followed the blackfish around like a sick in love puppy the whole time asking him questions and want to hear his stories that’s how much he admired the black fish the deadly black trout of river run
@@tanman49 lol i love the idea of a fanboying Jamie
I hope the blackfish accommodated him
I don’t think he would have had a choice. The decision would have been made by Tywin if he hadn’t been made a Kingsguard.
I wish the show conveyed this more I hated her during my initial watch. But now as I read the books, I feel really bad for her. Could’ve added much more depth to her character in GoT.
I don't symphatize with her since her insincere letter to Catelyn was one of the key elements that iniciated the war between Starks and Lannisters... 😓... But, as this short shows, it's fitting. Westeros politics destroyed her, so she destroyed Westeros in return, unknowingly... 😅😬😵
I've never heard the term "high breasted" before but it is definitely part of my vocabulary now 😂🎉
Perky tatas
Yet you have heard of a million jokes about great breasts. And this is where the original term came from.
@@3katfox🤣
Was literally gonna say the same thing
I am sure she had some sort of condition, she was way too unpredictable and paranoid both in the books and in the series.
She fell in love with a boy who only cared about her favoured sister, had to abort the child she had with him, married a man 20 years older than HER FATHER,had many miscarriages and stillbirths, bro she doesn't need some sort of condition to be crazy 😂😂😂 but I understand your point
one shouldnt diagnose fictional characters but it might well be some sort of post partum psychosis after one of her stillbirths, possibly worsened by grief, which obviously wouldnt have had a cure at the time.
@@Traz_a_verdinhawho was the boy she fell in love with? Never read the books

LOL!!
She also violated Littlefinger.
But during the Robert's ribellion wasn't Catelyn 19 and Lysa was 15 - 16?
15, 16 or maybe 17, her birth year is not confirmed. Cat was 18-19, so there may be 3 years between them
Did they have sauce for their "ribellion"?
Jamie dodged a f*ckin bullet train with her
Thank heaven he had the totally super sane and stable Cersei to be with. Nothing weird or toxic there...
@@Himesua😂😂😂
Jamie rvped cersei
@@rottenkittenparvono he didn't?
It’s not because she gained weight that she started looking older. Must have been an actual health condition, probably the cause of the failed pregnancies, because typically gaining weight would make you appear younger. And hide some of the appearance of aging.
Not according to George
Apparently you're either slim and young and beautiful or fat and uly and old (only applies to women)
@@beththegreenlmao true
@@beththegreenNot really, he described Rhae as plump but beautiful, he describes Arianne as busty and curvy and again, beautiful
She may have been beautiful before she married Jon but after their years together she become less beautiful
She's still beautiful just thick
Yeah, that’s what happens when kids are abused by pedophiles with a breeding fetish.

She got married at 14...
@@juliandacosta6841 That's legal in some places, like Westeros LMAO!
@@juliandacosta6841"Beautiful" doesn't only mean "I'd bang them". People can be beautiful at any age.
Loosing your children is what changed her
I never thought I'd hear the term "high-breasted" used to describe a girl
Maybe Jon was the infertile one, he had stilborns before Lysa, didn't he? And he is too old to have kids, this affects fertility
That is the point buddy, Lysa actually had a pregancy begore marrying Jon
Didn't LF accidentally impregnate Lysa? LF thought he was having sex with Cat but it was really Lysa. And i think Hoster Tully forced her daughter to abort
No Lysa flat out raped him. He was heavily wounded (he almost died) and high off milk of the poppy, which Lysa knew and did it anyway. But she did sadly get pregnant
@@Ashbrash1998oh shut up, that wasn’t rape
High-breasted? Reminds me of something I heard my very southern friend say once with his thick southern accent: “she got some child-bearing hips”. Lol
Love the picture of Hurrem stuck in the middle of the video. 😂
Casual art piece of Hurrem thrown in there too 😅
Jaime never cared about Lysa; if I remember correctly, during one meeting, Jaime was very taken with the Blackfish and did not speak to Lysa at all.
Idk poisoning your husband who's hand to the king *is* pretty brave
She was a product of the environment she grew up. I don't justify her actions but I do feel sorry for her.
Was there a reason to emphasize that she was “high breasted”? lol 😂is it a quote from the book or just a nice dig at the GOT version of the character’s droopy boobs? 😅
*WHEEZE* 😂
No that’s is a quote it’s how cat describes young Lysa
where can i buy the books you show
Amazon(a song of ice and fire)
If you have a local library do that there are 5 and they very long it’s easier if you don’t like them also
Why is a fan art of Hurrem Sultana in the video for Lyssa?
😂 I was like picture of Hurrem weird
@@rainbowhairsings right?!
Saw your comment and had to do a double take. Lol😂
There's no way a Tulley would've married a Lannister.
The reason Cersei convinced Jaime to join the Kingsguard was because there were talks between Hoster and Tywin for a betrothal between Jaime and Lysa. This was pre-rebellion, before the bad blood between the houses.
At the point war breaks out, no. Politically though, the Tullys are a great house and lords paramount of the Riverlands. They're on the same stratum as house Lannister, even if the Lannisters might consider everyone else beneath them. In medieval terms it would likely have been a "good match" or at least an acceptable one.
@@thegreenmanofnorwich If this marriage did take place, would Jamie possibly become Lord of Riverrun and Casterly Rock? Is that possible?
@@evafleury5538 unlikely. Primogeniture seems to be male-line in Westeros, except in Dorne. So Edmure would inherit. If he were to die childless, then the estate would go to the next male heir from the Tully line. In order for Jaime to get it, there would have to be no male heir, and Catelyn would also have to be deceased (and probably without having borne male children, too)
@@evafleury5538no . Even if Lysa and Jaime got married , after Hoster's death the succession line would have been this :
1. Edmure
2. Edmure's son
3. Blackfish
4. Catelyn
5. Robb
6. Bran ( The Broken )
7. Rickon
8. Lysa
You did not hold back
Please, she was crazy
Am I the only one who keeps drawing parallels with Sansa (from the show).
Fate has not been kind to Lysa and her death was tragic tbh.
Sounds like my CK2 playthrough
I forget who is Jon Arryn
"High breasted"??! 🤨
So she had thyroid problem?
Still say Robin Arynn is Hers and little Fingers Son.

What is a high-breasted girl? Is it literal?

Sansa few years after being queen lol
Nah, she finally has peace and a dude 20 years her senior isn’t raping her as a broodmare
I imagine she’ll be both sane and pretty (not sure which you care about) for many years
Georges seems to be quite fatphobic (against women) when he's himself a very large man...
Edit: I just started Game of Thrones (Book 1) so I have no idea (and because everything is written from a character's point of view you can blame fatphobia on them).
I'm just making the observation that when I listen to how @videobooks3 say things, sometimes it makes me uncomfortable. (I also know it's probably how the characters in the books judges who they're seeing, but still)
explain?
😂😂the fact that you said he’s fatphobic, but he’s also fat, and don’t see the irony is hilarious.
Or you know? His book is placed on a setting where beauty matters and people are actually judged?
@@ogiebear8484 you never encountered an homophobic gay man? Or a misogynistic woman? Sorry to break it to you, but the world is not as logical as we would like 😐
(And let's not talk about the colorism in the western black community or in East Asia... Invention of white people yes, but still racism from poc)
Also, fat white men are definitely permitted to be fatphobic towards fat women of all ages. Misogynistic? Yes. Still fatphobia added to it.
@@victorsardaneta8727yes I know, so it's maybe just the way @videobooks3 says it. I absolutely LOVE this channel but sometimes the way he (they?) tells things makes me uncomfortable. And it's usually reduced to "she used to be pretty BUT now she's fat".
I don't mind when he uses the "is considered" formulation to express that it's only a perception from people in the world of Asoiaf.
So she was a walking (flying) foreshadow for Sansa.
Sansa has nothing in common with her, except blood and a bit of her appearance. She's the sanest out there.
@@PhebusdesTours I don't disagree, but let's see how our girl will turn out in her 40s.
