What they hear sounds muffled, and it basically sounds like a deep and scary voice. There are some websites that demonstrate the sound heard through hearing aids and Cochlear implants, and when I listened, they both freaked me out.

This makes me smile and cry! My father was March of Dimes baby and had a hearing aid his whole life and I've always had a special place in my heart for people with disabilities.
I love it when this shows back up in my feed. It never gets old. Such a precious baby girl and precious moment…one that mom/dad will be able to share with her/show her. The feeling I get is overwhelming, watching her hear daddy for the first time. I can only imagine how it was for her and mom/dad. Just beautiful!!
