Man, out of everywhere I've been, WV has some of my favorite terrain. It gets so gnarly, you can ride in the wet, it's warm, there's not a ton of people on the trails, it's beautiful, and they build legit features that other places won't because of liability.
@@JasonBikes I've got a few videos of the area. Davis WV has awesome riding and is a really cool town (that might be stretching how large the place is). Valley Falls is pretty amazing too. Kanawha State Forest is really cool as well. There's just so much in that area and most of it is back country. Definitely rockier and rootier than what your video shows, but that's the gopro effect for you :)
I just rode there this morning for the first time. I got 15 miles done and I do believe most of it was up hill. Haha. The trails are very nice and there are a lot of challenges to be had. I'm going back to ride the trails I haven't ridden yet and see how that goes. I'm not the best climber by any means but I did ride most of the uphill sections. I really enjoyed the trip there and this video. Thanks for sharing.
I stumbled across your video and now I’m really excited to try these trails. They look like they have a nice flow. We randomly picked this park because it’s central for our group to meet up.
Buff trails. Jason do you wish the seat tube angle of Hulk Green was just a tad steeper? I have my saddle as far ahead as is possible and have grown accustomed to riding the nose of the saddle up the steep stuff but I'd sure like to get it ahead another bit. Also have you weighed your bike? I'm sure your on a Large like mine.
I didn't find the seat angle to be distracting and generally have the saddle pushed back rather than forward. Hulk weighs in at 27.3lbs and it is a large.
Wow! I used to live there and helped build a lot of the first mountain bike trails in the park, Copperhead included! It is an awesome place to ride.

It was a fun place to ride and they weren't shy about the hill climbs. I'd like to explore the state more.

Yeah that small wooden gap jump at the end with a 2X4 for a skinny I am sure wrecked a few rims and riders, I would have passed it by as well

My local trails. So freakin good. Just got a new Full Sus and cant wait to bomb it down those trails.
Nice trail with plenty of challenges, your riding partner is fast and in shape
I live near these trails and they are good. One time I fell into the creek at 7:47
Your logo is killer!
What trail is that rock "wall" on? It looks pretty cool.
Its called "tomahawk", its in the valley on the other side of the dam.

Nice trail👍
Thanks, it was a good day on the bike.
I didn't think I'd miss summer and riding, I just can't ride in the cold. I'm half the worth , it's alot harder
Winter riding is certainly more of a forced effort and a different pace. Hope the video helps hold you over.
What pivot are you riding? I’m local to the area of this trail and ride a pivot Mach6. Love pivot bikes.
That's a Pivot Mach 429
