One of my favorite trails on the Front Range. I always park in the north lot. I find it really enjoyable whether I ride it clockwise or counterclockwise. Lots of variety and incredible views.
From the stem out: Timber Mountain Bike Bell, 9point8 Dropper Post trigger, brakes. I think you are asking about the bell, I did a video on that a couple months ago th-cam.com/video/e_coEyE_2NA/w-d-xo.html
Not gonna lie. But you lied. I used to live on that mountain (my grandpa actually owned 89 acres on the top) and I love that trail. However hikers do go on it but they’re annoying as all hell.
WOW just find out about this trail yesterday when I was in Golden lol and find your post. it's on to do list. thank you so much sir.✌...

+Steve Stremsterfer certainly a gem, I've only done it clockwise, is CCW equally as fun?
Thanks for showing off the trail! This is on my list to ride soon so it was great to get an idea of the ride!
Looks like a fun varied mix of terrains! Can't wait to try this one :)
What a great day. So much fun!
My kind of trail there. Nice flowy with technical sections. I’d love to ride there! Cool video! 👍
Thanks! I love going there.
Haha holy hell Jared must have been cookin! You were going fast and yet he accelerates out of view so quickly!
+JustTooChill87 he is so fast, I love trying to hold his wheel, it makes me better
What you don't see is the way that Jason disappears into the distance on every climb. :-)
Thanks for this video Jason , I enjoyed watching it 🤙🚴♂️
going to need to drive down to Golden (from Fort Collins), trail looks fun
It's a solid ride, make sure you check the jeffco website for it, the days alternate between mountain biking and running / hiking.
Jason Bikes I saw the posted sign on MTB Project, even days bikes, odd days hikers on the weekends, closed Dec-Jan for hunting
Really great video
Only slightly jealous.... it started snowing in the mountains in Durango
What about Cortez? Phil's World still riding?
Awww yeahhhh. Only the real high country is snowy right now.
Berms would make this trail so much better
That section at 5 minutes is a 'no fucking way' for me.
What's that mount on the left side of your bars?

Yep, it the bell I was wondering about. Cool, have not seen that before. My Hope rear hub is so loud so that usually solves that problem.. =)
+JoinMyRide Yea, that is true.
Outstanding video! Just curious, what was your total elevation gain for that ride? Also, how many miles did you cover?
This one was 16.86mi and 2,587ft.
sir i am much jealous living in the overrated concrete jungle that is Toronto Canada
I would not hike that trail eaven if it was open to hikeres
didn't watch the entire video; what do you mean "no hikers allowed"?
Alternate days for hikers and bikers.

There are dedicated days for hikers and bikers, please go look it upon JeffCo's trail page before calling me a lier.
It's even and odd days hiker or bikers only.
