Definitely doable with all the hours you're putting. I do $100 in 4 hours in Chicago. I've never worked a full 12 hours but that should easily get you over $300
7:53 is so freaking hilarious. It's so damn frustrating to experience. I save the destination for the end of my shift now. Sucks, but I hate being far from home at the end of the night. If the second one loads, I'll work longer. If not, F it. If Uber isn't concerned about longer wait times, why should I be?? 🤷🏽♀️ I've noticed the trip bonuses continue to get lower, as do surges. I've been doing it full-time, but I'm transitioning out. I think I've only done 12 hrs once. I'm happy with the 8-10 hrs I usually work. But $38/hr isn't bad.
If you work 10 hours a day doing uber, like my friends do, you should be totaling minimum $300 to $380 a day after gas. Yhis is not me saying, this is exactly their words. Last year one of my friends made $96000 and paid a little over $2000 tax. Soooo $94,000 could get you a new civic every year snd you still pocket $60K. Grow your fleet of civics and put them all on Turo, now you have 2 actively passive incomes. Sometimes you dont have to be a rocket scientist to be rich, you just gotta be a hustler. If anyone driving a taxi, uber or lyft tells you "I am not making any5hing out of this job man, just paying the car installment and gas money." That person is full of shit. I have many friends who drive Uber and Lyft in Ontario and they are killing it.
2k on 96k gross sounds too good to be true, u could get audited... also 94k isn't the real net number? u didn't factor in repairs gas and other business expenses that reduced his gross reported (ie. if he made 96k and had 15k in expenses he would have 81k net reported) unless your friend made wayyyy over 100k if u know what i mean it's unlikely, I'm also in Ontario. Still don't understand how he only paid 2k in taxes unless he Incorporated himself or fluffed up his mileage by a shit load? I don't have a car so i really don't know lol.
@@savkollerz2532 yes u can write off ridiculous numbers that aren't true. If u could make 90k paying 2k in taxes everyone would sign up. Tax write offs is basically 30% discount on paying for things to make it simple, so obviously he would have to making more than 100k gross. Which is unlikely so its probably just fluffed up mileage as its the only thing u don't spend money on as it counts as depreciated value and I'm sure boost up other numbers. Theres no legit way to pay 2k in taxes on 96k unless maybe u got incorporated to get big tax breaks, if u read my previous comment I'm not hating on anything I'm just saying its not possible to do it legitly and alot aren't doing or filing their taxes legitly as couriers. 90k is borderline number to get attention to get audited. Government will want their money if u make especially 6 figures.
Working 12 hours sounds crazy but I know some people that work two jobs today and they're not even making 350 a day that's good money you talking about gas $300 profit I think that's awesome. I need to save some money Bank some money so I'm going to try to do your challenge I use it to 12 hours 2 days a week but I'm going to do it everyday and I'm actually trying to do 12 hours come off rest for 7:00 and then back on, holiday is coming I want to spend some time with the family take maybe 2 weeks off so if I can do that in 2 weeks or two weeks straight like that and I can have 2 weeks off that'd be 6500 for a month you think about this damn good and only working 2 weeks after month think about it you use your time the same family to do your hobby if your musician a dancer etc travel
Haha I just finished a week 77 hrs. It's funny because I wasn't planning it, started Monday hit 130 in 4-8, went home got ready for the gym, turn on the app just to see, bam another 4 hrs, then gym then another 4 to get 400 for the day. Tuesday I'm running out of time only at 308, and I get an offer for a 92 dollar 2 hr ride(14hr + 2hr coming home), so just to get the 400 I accept it. Wednesday had to prove it wasn't a fluke another 400 and 12 hours. My uncle does rideshare so goal was to make sure what I put in out did his best. Could do another 4 hrs today, but won't get me a significant number so I don't care. Anyway you definitely start feeling the effects. Not sure how 2 straight weeks of this would be, probably not too smart. Better to take a day, unless you just want to hit a number like myself.

Hi I just want to know how often do you get Uber comfort instead of just Uber X order? I’m thinking either getting the Camry hybrid or Corolla hybrid. But the price different is almost 7k. So I want to know how Uber comfort pays driver, how much per mile and minute and is it worth it? Thanks a lot
Get the camry is way more confortable but don get to fancy if you want to get better gas mileage… comfort is like 1.80 the miles when you combine the mileage and the time you cant not relay just for comfort in the day only you will get like 3 or 4… but if you can buy a lexus hybrid you can do only comfort and premier and forget the uberx (if your city has premier)
Basically comfort rides have priority. Experienced Riders have figured if they have an undesirable drop-off or long route they need to select comfort to pay the driver more and it charges them more. I get very few comfort rides, and a lot of times I won't accept the request because the location isn't good. By that I mean it will take me out of where most people request rides, so I'll have to drive a little to get back in range, or it will start giving me requests further away from the city and those usually don't pay. Regular Camry's are nice.
