I remember some of these players. Mike Mercer will go down in history as kicking the first field goal in a Super Bowl he kicked it at the end of the first half while playing for the Kansas City Chiefs in the first Super Bowl it was the only field goal in that game.
Jim McAndrew won some important games for the 1969 NY Mets. Bill Plummer served as an effective backup catcher for Johnny Bench for many seasons for the Cincinnati Reds. Andy Russell was an excellent linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He went through the lean years first, then enjoyed great success when the Steelers became good enough to win Super Bowls. I remember several others on that list; as I age, more and more of my youth pass on.
May each one rest in peace, and may each of their family and friends be healed and comforted.

I don't remember most of these players but they all had good careers.
yeah some of them you have to be a fan of the particular team to remember them

The tick tock of the clock stops for all of us, but somehow our memories of players in their youth, fading away; holds more significance
Enjoy the information you supply, but i miss the old format.
The other format was easier for me, but I cannot deny that the voice videos show about 7-10k plays while the other format showed 5-8 hundred.
Rest in Peace.
