Jinnah had deflected a question from a journalist of more than one Muslim state in the division of India because he feared that the British would rethink the idea of Pakistan when Britain on June 3 1947 announced partition of India
It is a fact that Sardar Patel told Liaquat to keep his hands off Hyderabad & Junagadh and think of Kashmir. This has come out in Saifuddin Soiz recent book on the Kashmir conflict. Actually Pakistani leadership tried to grab all violating the principles of partition. Unfortunately for them Sardar Patel spoilt things for them and eventually Pakistan lost all its marbles.
