PNS Ghazi was the most advanced warship at that time which was provided/gifted to Pakistanis by Americans.
Congratulations to our pakistani brothers for starting 1971 war. Because they were very much successful in that war actually and because they were able to create a New country Bangladesh.

My grand father name was proposed for gazi..but his replacement was came before 5 minutes and his best buddy was Martyed in the war.

I served in PNS Ghazi from 1964 to 1967 (3 years). I don’t remember the crew were trained for mine laying during my tenure. This was done later. Rise of hydrogen level is very dangerous. This was the possibility of its destruction. This has also occurred in U.S. submarines.Hydrogen levels above 2.5 is fatal. At this level the battery system should be shut down. Submarine should be ventilated through schnorkeling. This was available in Ghazi. Or conditions permitting submarine should surface to ventilate.
