Whether it is Ivtec or idtec manual transmission both are beast engines. IVtec for performance. Idtec for mileage and handling.

@@___Amal_ yes Honda diesels sound very agricultural, I've heard it's because it's an all aluminium engine. It's as noisy as VW diesels below 2.0L.
About tata, the 1.5 Revotorq is not that refined tbh, but the 2.2L varicor which was in Hexa and Storme was pretty refined, I'll admit that.
@@DHS562 Verna 1.6 and Figo 1.5 are the real diesel rockets below 20 lacs, City Diesel is tuned for more comfort, it's not as fast.
I don't know about stability bro, comfort yes 100% City is THE most comfortable sedan below 20 lacs. It's rear seats would put some sedans above 20 lacs to shame.
Reason I doubt the stability is because the rear suspension is too bouncy in the City, maybe because it's tuned for comfort. So in highway speeds, I didn't feel as stable as I was in something like a Vento or Slavia.
CVT transmission can be under 10 seconds with REMAP ECU because CVT transmission or anything especially matic is programmed by the ECU, this is my experience with CVT cars, after I remap the CVT it becomes more responsive because CVT is moved by oil pressure so after remapping CVT is more responsive
yeah but manual transmission can be under 10 sec by just being a better driver lol

Honda's CVTs are shit. I have a 2014 city cvt, and I absolutely hate it. I have a 2011 Corolla altis, and that, that has a good CVT

I know the city diesel is not really that fast but 10.1 seconds for the petrol manual seems a bit unbelievable.
I've managed lower than that in 4th gen city petrol manual. Max I've managed is around 9.5 seconds.
City 4th gen is faster than 5th gen city. That why it can can below 10s.

Lock points are added, CVT sticks to one ratio till some pre defined speed.
There is no actual upshifts in CVT. Its just a single gear. It creates the illusion of DCT by intentionally dropping the rpm making it look like an upshift.
Gear to redline pr aane ke baad shift krta yar! 2nd gear pe 105 jaati h, 95 pe hi shift krdia, obviously alag reault ayega! And gear shifts b smooth nahi hai..🙄

manual is brilliant but i cant stand the "fake" cvt gearshifts, especially at higher rpms.

Also we had 3 hrs with the car. Had to shoot in the same duration. And do such runs for you guys. Come on, be considerate :-)
@@91Wheels you can save time mister. I own a city and a civic, both gets to 100 in 2nd gear. Being a high revving engine the peak power comes in at around 6800 rpm 🤐
I think diesel engine is more silent then petrol.

petrol engines roars when revved, that's not related with being silent
redline diesel and it will have high noise

what a dumb car..i bought a 2007 dodge charger hemi for 1.5 lac inr in middle east..easily get 0-100 under 6.5 sec (if rear tire is warmed up)

Used dodge cars are one of the best value luxury sedans in my opinion.....lookwise no sedans in the market have similar macho look to it..very spacious..all leather interior..power and heated seats and all..awesome audio..and all these you can get at 1/7th price of a peski new civic..no brainer..my requirements were a big spacious sedan that goes 0-60 under 7 seconds with leather interior and awesome road presence , with plenty available cheap parts and a lot of available mechanics who can work on it at a cheaper rate..with price under 5000 usd..i didnt find any other sedan car that fits all these except a dodge charger
@@iorikasanuga7251 I dont really call dodge "luxury" by any means. They make loud V8s, thats it. The Charger doesnt even have the level of build quality of a Honda. The transmissions breaks down prematurely, the electronics fail, and fuel mileage is worse than a Bugatti (if you got tge V8). Its a burden to own and the 05 charger is ugggglyyyy.
