Hey man u should have rev this beast to 6.9k rpm then only ull get what's VTEC or iVTEC
@@princetejwani1069 the V-tec engages around 3.8k rpm so from that point onwards till about 7k the car PULLS.
The way that fortuner driver give you the side, thats how the driving in India should be. Faster vehicle on the right most lane.

The speed test is good...but let the vtec kick in lol....vtec usually kicks in when you go more than 3500rpm to 4000rpm...best effect at 5000-6000rpm
We have remapped the same car and driven it as you are saying and that video will be out within 2 weeks

my santro actually does perform well in 1000 - 2000 rpm with fantatastic torque but after that midrange is also quite good
Lol no, Santro is has low end lag. You probably don't know when Santro is in 2000rpm because there is no rpm gauge

Average I would say ..... If you upgrade the tyre to a size further to this 4 th gen pre facelift then it's a gem of a car

Most if not all B segment car can achieve top speed 200+kmh, the different is which is more stable, Honda at that speed look like as if it gonna fly, very dangerous to others my friend, bumpy road add the hair raising thing, Btw I watch lots car video ,honking are rare and small underbone motorcycle too

this isn't germany and neither was that AUtobahn. the only reason i say this is bcoz it's seems way too unsafe to drive on higher speed when the roads, rules aren't meant to be driven on higher speeds.

VTEC kicks in but what about ivtec ?
I drive honda city 4th gen on 195/60/R15 , it doesn't feel nervous upto 140 on ECR beyond this the body doesn't support and gets bouncy. ECR is a good road but not the best so on better surface it may go faster. But somehow I feel it's best below 120 above 120 it may lead to disaster

True even gen 3 feels same. 120-130 is under control on good road. But once you touch 140 we feel car became
feather lite and it is flying, still it will be a butter smooth ride which will tempt us to push further. I felt it's body is not capable to handle it's engine power.. Whatever, riding any gen well maintained city is always a pleasure that no other cars of this segment can give.
Just upgrade your tyres to 205/55 R15 section tyres which will increase the car grip.

Well the car was confident till 130 kmph ... Beyond that is not so confident...the shakes were majorly due to the bumpy road

Have to give u some props... i just came by the same road in our city 1.5 vtec 2017(facelift) and my dad was driving (im young) but we chased an xuv500 and went upto 140... the road was a little more trafficked than your time of driving but the city had much more in it and felt that it could easily go 150+ and left xuv500 in the dust but we reached the area do get off the highway but my dad said we couldve passed xuv and go on even faster... this shocked me because this is the first time he said this after all these years and he never goes above 130 but today!

Well not really petrol is faster in terms of 0-100 acceleration....on the other hand diesel push better in in-gear acceleration
Petrol has higher power whereas diesel has more torque

as no direct rivals in it's price range
but 1.0 tsi slavia is slower than city in 0-100 timings

I have driven the city until 180. It doesn't feel safe or stable at high speeds on almost all roads. I think the vw/skoda feels more stable and planted on highways. City is a family car & not a highway machine
yup agree it starts to shake after 130 kmph due to its lighter weight and under sized tyres....but it is quite a capable cruiser when you upgrade the stock tyres..

@@BUCKLEUPIndia yes. But mostly its not about the tyres. Its about the body and suspension set up. Even if you upgrade the tyres, you won't feel big confidence. I have not driven the 2017 facelift version. Do you think it is the same to drive on highways? I mean the low stability?
