I’ve played four campaigns of Arkham LCG, and I learned something that I had missed via your play through: allies without an ally symbol don’t take up the ally slot. Thanks for doing these, Dale!
@Henry Williams Thanks for watching, and glad you were able to pick up something new. The FAQ on living card games are quite extensive!! Good luck in your adventures! :)
Just completed this scenario today. Had the headphones on with creepy music (not the dulcet tones of Dale's voice). Such an atmospheric game! More than any other I've played, this game makes you FEEL the creepy danger building.
Really like your videos, I usually watch them after a scenario I played to see what I could have done better. With having Duke though, you could have saved some actions by using his Investigate action which allows you to move first. So instead of 2 actions (move then investigate) Duke allows you to do that using just one action. Keep making these videos!
Duke is such a good solo investigator. Ashcan helps sometimes too =D. 1. Remember that Duke's investigate allows him to move as part of the same action. If the new location has no clues, it whiffs, but it's a way to get a 2 for 1. 2. When you have clues, unless otherwise specified, you can choose when to advance. In this case, it's good to advance immediately, but in some cases you may want to wait to advance until the start of the next investigator phase. 3. The second thrall can spawn elsewhere if you want. If all locations have 0 clues, you can break ties in your favor. If you think you'll never return to a location, you can leave it there. I had forgotten how stingy this campaign is with XP. Clearing the faculty office, even if didn't end the scenario would get a location XP. Just as a possible way to be greedy with XP. =D
I started the campaign in true solo. Hard mode. I plan to do all the Dunwich with 3 investigators playing solo. Roland Banks, Agnes Baker and Wendy Adams. 2 games for each investigator and taking the best result In this first scenario Roland was the "winner" beating it in turn 11 and getting 4 experience points. Agnes could only do 2 experience in 12 turns..Wendy was the worst getting killed in the first try and barely surviving in the second. Only got 2 experience points. When I played with Wendy that was my 5th game and I knew the scenario very well but it was in vain. She was by far the weakest of the 3.
Great to look! Thanks! But... you do some Movement Errors 😉 from Student Place you walk directly to Administration... Sorry for this 'Nerdish' Hint 😏😉 But it feels good to know that youre cool play rush Technique is not 100% perfect! 😏😊😉 Happy Hollidays 🎁👍🍀
@Strick Poet Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Holidays to you too! Yep, my plays are not perfect, but hope they show a good representation of the game so people can see how to play, and if it's a game they would like to purchase. Are you a fan of Arkham Horror the Card Game?
If multiple locations fit into the Spawn condition, leader investigator decides where to spawn it. If no locations meet the Spawn condition, it gets discarded. 14:12 Thrall could have been spawned in any of the locations. 28:15 You could have just used the already in play Axe to take out the enemy as you have plenty of resources instead of having to waste 3 cards... 30:35 You could have played the Flashlight and investigate at 0 veil instead of throwing it to the dog (since you refused to use your combat assets xd) 37:00 Bro, you just let go 1 Victory point by not choosing the Wizard, you got plenty of weapons and all required clues, you are very far from losing... 37:49 ... and another Victory point left behind 🥲

So relaxing but helpful to see how it's played. 😊

@Aaron Trovillion Congrats on completing the creepy scenario! And good luck on the remaining ones! :)
Thanks For these playthroughs Dale.
They really do help me out soooo much!!
Thanks for watching, and good luck keeping your sanity! :)

@David Ko Haha True! Duke is amazing. I don't think I really started using him correctly until the 3rd scenario. :)
Thanks for watching!
what is the sleeve?
great. but cant watch cause I started with carcosa cycle (best one haha) :)
I'll save the world from this tragedy, you save it from the carcosa tragedy! :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer oh boy. I wish I could haha :D we died so many times. still on chapter 4
Uh oh!!
Awesome video … where did you get those chaos tokens?
They are the original cardboard tokens put in coin protectors. :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer thank you ! Awesome content!

@AMS Fountain I'd bet my money on Roland for true solo, but I have lost quite a bit of sanity. Good luck!! :)
Could you advise me where you got your card display rails? Those look like exactly what I need for this! Also thanks for the vid!
Thanks for watching! They are Uberstax, and I just uploaded a video highlighting them ... th-cam.com/video/HBNRANBuKS4/w-d-xo.html

@@DaletheCasualGamer yes! Im a great fan of this Genre and also this fantastic Game! All the best! 👍
I lost si hard on the Express, when are they gonna release reprints!
Duke is the MVP and will make it hard to play without him. :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer yes, we all love Duke! In Arkham Horror he is crucial in all releases.
