I’m still chuckling over the fact the rest of the team has sensible job descriptions on their card and Cookie’s just said ‘Dubious Choice’ 😂The fact you immediately lost your Guide before even moving out, and then your Explorer would give me pause to take one further step!
This was so fun, thanks. I love your playthrus, watching you play has definitely helped me to embrace the narrative and enjoy the randomness in games that I used to struggle with, like Robinson Crusoe and Nemesis. I just picked AH Lcg used to try out the system. I'm really excited to get started.

You have my sympathy.👍. I enjoyed this one immensely, it isn't my favorite, but vies for second place with The Forgotten Age. The new mechanics are great, especially the expedition member that you can choose to start with. The narrative is the best so far, it really plunges you into the Antarctic Wastes. I went with Lily and Bob. Next time round I've set for Mark and Minh, the only ones I ever seem to get a result with. 🤫. Love your narrative Colin, very immersive.

I'm so excited! I've been playing this with my friend (we both play 2 handed) with Winni, Jim, Joe, and Sister Mary (it's our 'all star' campaign of our favorite investigators) and it's been so much fun so far.
Yes! It's really excellent. We play that we get different basic weaknesses every scenario though, for variety. And we don't know what they are until we draw them. Oh no! Claypool is so useful! We ironically lost Dyer.
It's really awesome seeing the stark differences, even in the first scenario, between my playthrough and yours. In mine, amongst other things, Cookie died in the crash.

Colin! Excellent stuff! I had a few questions requiring your expertise! Do you organize everything for Arkham Horror as a whole within the Return to boxes and then the rest, in the nicer, bigger Edge of the Earth box? More importantly, do you always build your decks for each investigator before you leap into a campaign? I haven't really built too many decks and I have a lot of content. Typically I've just gone with the prebuilt stuff, even if it hamstrings me and the group.
GREAT questions!! Currently I have all the player cards organized in 3 ring binders by set, so when I build the deck in ArkhamDB it is easy to find the cards. I leave the encounter cards in the Return To Boxes for sure. I am not a great deck builder for Arkham as you can't adjust it per scenario like Lord of the Rings, so I tend to look up decks that seem interesting on Arkhamdb.com and give them a go! That is what I did here, it is a great framework, and then as I level up I make them more my own. I would highly recommend that so you can enjoy the game! Hope that helps!

Oh it's super easy every card in order it takes maybe 5 minutes to build a deck! You just make it first in arkhamdb.com then sort by set and boom is easy to pull it together!!

Since you were investigating with Sixth Sense in the end and you drew a Cultist token, you could have decided to investigate the connecting location instead. That would have been a success. No clue gained, but at least you don't get a Tekeli-li weakness. You should have still performed another attempt to actually get the last clue. Didn't you have a Guts to Commit?
I did have guts but I couldn't play cards at that location due to the encounter cards I drew. So I think I'm just going to take the weakness and move on! Hard part of recording haha!! Not sure how I got 6 will power in my head!
@@OneStopCoopShop Oh, you actually could and should have used guts then. "Committing" cards to skill tests is not considered "playing" cards in this game. So that treachery didn't actually prevent you from committing cards.

These cards are committed to a skill test from a player's hand in order to use their abilities." But by all means consult anyone in any forum about whether effects that prevent playing cards also prevent committing cards to skill tests.

I don't but I just play on normal. If you are going to play on hard you need to because the scenarios can be brutal!
