In todays video I'll be sharing all the documents and the tedious processes that come with doing the UK student VISA. I will also be sharing the cost of everything and just being transparent because I know how confusing this can be.

Thanks for the informative video :) I have a few questions I hope you will be able to answer. Do the copies of the documents you take for the appointment need to be certified , or are normal photocopies fine ? I will also carry the original documents like you suggested just in case. Regarding the financial documents and your funds being in a different currency, do you have to physically write on the document such as the bank statement the converted amount to pounds using the Oanada currency converter?
1. If you have the originals then you don't have to.
2. I'm not quite sure about this, but the important part is that it is the £ equivalent of the amount you need using that days rate

With a conditional offer, after meeting your conditions, do you make a deposit for your fees before receiving an unconditional offer or you wait for an unconditional before you can proceed to make fee payments

I was so stressed about submitting my application and not having the correct documents this video was such a life saver
about the TB test; you have shared the list of countries.. so my home country is on the list but I live in UAE which isn't on the list. so i wanna ask does it depend on the country I'm living in or the country I'm from? do i still have to give TB test?

Do I need to present previous employment letter or reference letter at the Embassy or it's not required? for a top-up undergraduate program after leaving school for more than 10 years
Heyy... It is really very informative video. I have some queries and would be glad if you could help me through these. 1) I have applied for postgraduate research program in one of the university in UK. I have received the CAS. But the issue is I had applied for ATAS on 6th aug specifying the date of course completion year as 2024 but in the CAS it is mentioned as 2025. Would it make any difference in the VISA application.
2) If I receive the VISA, and due to pandemic if its not possible to travel to UK for next 6 months, would the VISA be valid? or do I need to apply for the other one?

Hey, 1. when it comes to the ATAS I am not completely sure. However given that your CAS states the later date this should not be a problem for the VISA application. I recommend you call the international student support at your University or the VISA application centre just to make sure.
2. If you receive the VISA then you basically have it for however long it is stated. The only issue, that people faced in my year as well, is that you are given 90 days from the point you receive it to travel into the country(extended from 30 due to the pandemic). So if you are not able to travel within those 90 days you would then have to apply for an extension for the entry but it is not a new VISA.

Hello Dudu, I am so lost for the documents that I need so thank you for this video!! Also I know that if you studied in uk before 2021 you can have students loans because uni in uk are expensive but because of Brexit things change .So with this visa do I get students loans or facilities to pay back.This is my biggest fear because I am not rich.Thank you!!

Hey Dudu, thanks for this video, I want to ask, for your bank statement, if your course is more than a year, say you are doing a course with placement and the placement year has an extra cost, do you have to make provisions for this extra year in your bank statement as well?
Hey✨ No matter how long your course is, you only need to show you have tuition for Year 1. I also have a placement year but I only had to show that I had my 1st year tuition in the bank statements

Hello Dudu. Please for the proof of fund, My sister and I are applying to the uk for our masters degree. Do we have to have double the amount for proof of fund since we are two? Or can we both apply independently without having to show proof of both our tuition and living expenses? (I hope you understand my question)
If you and your sister are going for study visa both of need a separate account, that has your tuition balance and living expenses for 28 days then print at 30 days

You have 31 days after printing your bank statements to submit your application.

Is there any specific rule about submitting scanned copies of required documents in UK student visa? ex.size, format (jpg/pdf)...etc.

With the funds, I’m from the US so they sometimes don’t ask for financial aspect of it but if I were using student loans for tuition would that count for the financial part? Would I just need to show proof of my student loans?

Thank you for this useful video. I read on the British website that this process will take around 3 weeks to receive an answer. However, a visa application centre in Ecuador told me that this process will take around 5-7 weeks from the date I show my passport. So, do you think is it correct? because I was thinking to hire its services to fill up my visa application form.

I recommend trying to find someone who has done the application and find out from their experience because from what I have researched and my experience, Student VISAs already have a certain level of priority. However, it does depend on how busy the centre in your country is.

Good job, sorry in case of someone going for 16 or 18months course, will the person pay complete 2 years insurance fee or a year and half?

You will pay for 18months. The health insurance is charged for every 6months. If it was 19 or 20 months you would have gotten into a new 6month period, therefore you'll have to pay for 2 years.

I'm married with kids and I'm the main applicant but I want to apply alone first and apply for my family dependent visa after I must have settle down. And also my pof only covers my tuition and maintenance fees.
What should I fill in this section where they ask if any depend on me? Yes or no
Also, can my dependents use my statements or theirs when applying separately.

When one is applying for a 3yr undergraduate program, must he pay for the complete 3yrs IHS surcharge during visa application or for the first year instead?. My second question is when submitting the statement of account, am I submitting in local currency or must have been converted using the currency converter like oanada?

The minimum is 3 months but I recommend 6.

If you submit your online application on the 28th of August, for example, the bank statements can have any date between 1 and 28 August. If they are from 31July, then they are too old.

Hey✨ I’m so glad it was helpful. And to answer your question, no I did not get interviewed to get my CAS. Getting a CAS is reliant on your offer being unconditional so unless one of the requirements to secure your place is an interview, you will not have to.

You can apply in the 31 days that come after the 28. So the money will be in your account for 28days(min) then you can print out the bank statements(or obtain electronic copies). After you print them out, you can only use them for the next 31days.

Did it or do you rate that adding the other certificates you submitted in your UCAS helped? would a person get denied if only providing the certificates stated in the CAS?
I don't think it helped much. The A Level certificate and the one showing my English Language were the ones they were looking for. I usually recommend giving more than they ask because it shows that you are a legit person and have the right intentions applying for that VISA.

You just need your passport and a printed copy of your application form if you’ve already uploaded your stuff 😊

The health surcharge is paid during your application process. So you pay before you get a decision from the embassy.

You would have to provide the Scholarship letter/document that shows how much it covers and then your bank statements need to show the balancing funds e.g if living costs are not included in the scholarship, you would have to show those.

Hey, I'm not quite sure but I think if you are married you can cause all they want is you to use someone who has a really close relation to you who won't just stop paying. e.g parent. But its safe to just call the ViSA centre to make sure.
