@@ColeGreene-rr4vk yea just the frame was a little lose but that was a free fix because I already had the right screw and it didn’t run but it came with a new motor
I hooped my line and ran it up my snorkel. For some reason I’m getting water in the crank line hoop bubbling just by idling in the yard. Andy ideas what would cause this??
Gonna blow your seals out like that. Whole point of those vents is to not only release heat but also pressure from that heat that builds up. If there’s no where for that heat and pressure to go it will push out the seals and you’ll have oil leaks and water/dirt will also get in
@@twintwo1429 he put caps on the vents to keep water from coming in, but obviously heat and pressure can’t escape and the pressure will push out the diff seals and any other seals.
Do u mean the gas tank? There’s a shut off on top, when u go under water u can shut it off but u want to keep the front end up and out of the water if possible anyway.
So you can use a standard pool hose. Should fit right into the hole where the plastic tube goes into the airbox then you just run it along side the motor and out the top where the bars are.
Yeah I’d pull the spark plug boot and fill it with dielectric grease and put back on. Any connectors like the one going to the cdi and rectifier I’d throw some in there also just to be safe.
I've got a honda fourtrax 300 2wd for sale snowplow and utility box for on back near state college area in pa looking for about 1200 for it if anyones interested

Can you make a independent video on the vent line you ran straight to the air box
Did you replace the one way valve on the drain line on the bottom of the carb? My friend told me it’s a must because the stock ones aren’t good
Hey im trying to do the exact same one but I have a problem with the 1/2 to 1/4 and the 45 I dont have enough space to put the 45
Thanks man I'm doing this to my 300

Isn’t this thing on Facebook?
What size one way check valve
Did you put a lift on it and if you did where did you get it from or did you make it how many inches how big are your tires on it
I put vent caps on my front, rear diff and my transfer case, so I don’t have lines everywhere

@@dom_offroad I don’t have oil I’m in my diffs or transfer case it’s full of grease
You're gonna ruin alot of stuff doing that

So there is a vent in front end rear and carb so take out the stock vents
Correct. The transfer case has a vent also right in front of where it says “4x4” on the driver side of the bike.
What about the gas??

I know from having a kid that time is limited when you turn it off 🤣
My two year old gets me ever other day, got me tonight matter of fact. Me knowing I keep gas in it,always makes me think I've ran out of gas lol.
How do some people do a flex pipe out the top I want that

@@dom_offroad thanks brother
do you not need a vent line off the top of the gas tank
Yes I addressed that at the end of the video. You need to drill and tap a fitting into the gas cap and run a vent line.
what size is the piping?
2”
Did you put any thing on the air box lid to seal it
You can use a grease to help deter water or if you want to keep it water tight you can use RTV
Do you dielectric grease the spark plug
Yes you should
What is the size for all the pipes
1 1/4 and 1 1/2
So 3 12 inch
