With over 100 titles, my original Xbox collection is one that I'm most proud of. In today's episode, I share with you all what games make up that collection!
I never experienced the Xbox growing up. A friend gave me his old one years ago and I was HOOKED. Currently have over 100 titles myself as well and keep adding to it.
Excellent! Keep it up! Aside from a few handful of games that tend to be on the pricier side, you can get a bunch of games cheaper on it especially the multiplatform ones.

Absolutely! Really wish they kept up the backwards compatibility program given how many games came out for it.
@@ScorpioCesarcade I always wondered with the Series X why, when they ran into licensing issues for repackaging the games digitally to improve them they didn't just release an emulator that could run them off of the original disk with no improvements, except framerates and maybe resolutions to bypass them. It could be updated to improve compatibility.

Yes!!! One more for the Duke guys! I can't play the first Halo on anything else and get the same experience.
I bought the OG Xbox the day it came out. Picked up Halo that year around Xmas. It was a fun time to be a gamer back then.
I'd argue it was some of the very best times to be a gamer. The Xbox + Duke controller + Halo: CE was simply euphoric!

Ive been recently playing my og xbox had best star wars games. Games are cheap to buy used now too which is a plus
It does house some of the best Star Wars games that’s for sure. I love how it’s got some of the best performing and looking multiplatform games and is also pretty the cheapest. Such a fantastic console!

Thanks NGG, I may have to just resort to printing repro coverarts for the rest of them but I’m honestly not too fussed about it. Only certain games I feel like I want to have them CIB.
Admittedly, I was late to the Xbox party. I got mine during the 360 era. I freaking love it! My game collection isn’t as great as GC or PS2 but I have the essentials. And of course.. I now own all 3 versions of Soul Calibur 2 haha! Amazing collection Scorp!
Soul Calibur 2 is definitely worth owning on all three systems it was released for. I missed when different version sometimes had exclusive characters. I’m glad you got to enjoy the original Xbox, it really doesn’t matter when you got it as long as you got to enjoy it!
I got mine around 2010 along with a ps2 and that's ps2 is the only version I have and I LOVE them both. Still play and collect for them. I don't play games to beat them and throw them out I play for pleasure.
Super awesome video, Scorpio. The 6th generation will forever be my all-time favorite generation of video games. Even if I grew up with it. The Original Xbox is super awesome, GOATED and it had a lot of great games

Still my favorite generation despite being followed and preceded by equally great generations. Something about the 6th Gen just hits different, before development costs were super inflated and creativity was at its peak.
Those are a bunch of great games, some I still haven’t played myself. I have to check out Toejam and Earl 3 myself and Bloody Rose!
Awesome video! I was mainly a PlayStation player growing up, yet I had some fun times with the OG Xbox.
I recently emulated some Xbox games and had a blast. Ninja Gaiden Black is one of my favorite games on that system. I don't usually collect physical as much nowadays, but I have an older OG Xbox laying around and just had some thoughts about it 😂

Hey SilverSentai, thank you for the awesome comment! Glad you enjoyed! The Playstation had every right being as popular as it did but at least you got a chance to experience it. It really is one of the most fun and satisfying consoles to collect for so I don't blame you for even considering jumping in.
If you do, I plan on making some videos showcasing ones I think that'll be worth jumping into in the near future.

You have a healthy batch of original Xbox games brother many killer titles & many I have in my 270 Xbox collection but don't have many you have there! You aren't weird as I vastly prefer all shooters & racing games myself on Xbox over PS2 as the Xbox ports just look & perform better than the other ports with very few exceptions.
I bought my first original Xbox just to play "Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green" as it was only on Xbox & PC. It actually is a good game with it's quite realistic George Romero zombies & the harder the difficulty level the faster & more aggressive the zombies are which many don't know. I love it & the creepy music, it can be challenging.
Yeah, Xbox will always be my go to shooter/racer console. PS2 I mainly stuck with exclusives as it was my least favorite that Gen.
Land of the Dead isn’t as god awful as a lot of people made it out to be but it definitely would’ve benefitted from a few months of extra polish. I’m stuck on the 2nd level I think. The one in the corn field, there are just so many zombies and not enough ammo. 😰

Whenever I see half life 2 and doom 3 on the og Xbox I get brought back to the time that I didn’t understand bad frame rate. I used to think my disc was broken. When I got half life 2 I had to stop playing it until the orange box came to 360.
I remember not being totally aware of framerates either back then. I remember reading about how this version chugs but not caring. I was just grateful to be able to experience it. That being said, going back to it now is rough especially after playing the Orange Box version on 360. Doom 3 ran much better if I remember correctly.
@@ScorpioCesarcade yeah I think in doom 3 they just resigned the level design to fit within the Xbox capability.
@@zeroXshinobi It certainly did! I remember going through the same room in a video I did in the past on the Xbox version and then the BFG edition on the 360 and there was an entire hallway missing in the Xbox version.
I missed out so much with the Xbox, I played way too much PS2, so it might be time to go back to OG Xbox and play some of the lesser known games.
Totally understandable! Most people during this Gen did the same exact thing and well, kudos to the PS2 it had so much in terms of games and exclusives. I can’t think of a better time to go back to the OG Xbox and get some of the lesser known games though. It’s still one of the easiest to collect for.
1st video by you for me love original Xbox Advent Rising is probably my second favorite game of all time it’s so underrated.
I remember reading all about it in a Game Informer magazine and there were plans for a sequel on the PSP. Sadly it never came into fruition. I know the frame rate was pretty bad when I played it on OG Xbox but I wonder if it’s better on the Xbox One X.
@@ScorpioCesarcade Yeah it really needed a sequel to complete the story I played a few levels on my series c and it did feel smooth.
I got an Xbox around 2006, then did the same as you, once I got the 360 I thought I'd never play it again and sold it, years later regretted that decision, so like a month ago, I saw one not cheap but not very expensive and got it again, but this time bought the crystal version, and I'm very happy with it, already got some games I played back then and also planning to get some that didn't play back in the day because didn't knew about them.
Oh man, that’s amazing to hear! The Crystal Xbox is damn beautiful and I’m happy you were able to reconnect with it. Thankfully so many of the games on it are affordable compared to the PS2, Gamecube.

One of the best memories in gaming was me and my 3 friends jumping on Hunter: The Reckoning or Fuzion Frenzy during sleepovers lol.
These are the kind of stories I love to hear! Was always interested in the Hunter games but never got to play them. Fuzion Frenzy though oh man, that’s one I spent countless hours playing with my sisters and brother in laws.
@@ScorpioCesarcade It's a classic. Hunter The Reckoning is great with a group. Shared screen 4 player co-op killing monsters. It was a great time lol
I'm on the bent of buying a Xbox console and The Hunter games is one of my motivation to do so!

I love bloodwake.. I never had an xbox back in the day. I just got one a couple of years ago and bloodwake was the 3rd game I got for it. Right behind xmen legends and nfl 2k5.
Oh it’s funny you mention ESPN NFL 2K5, as my father loved playing that game with my brother in law. Let’s just say he got a little too enraged during it and you can imagine what I was alluding to with that halo Edition controller. 😐

Definitely need to pick up both Otogi games by From Software, such forgotten gems for the Original Xbox.
Thank you for reminding me about those two games! I’ve always wanted to play them but never got around to getting them when they were still cheap. I’ll be paying the price to get them but I must have them!

Brute Force is a game that would benefit from a reboot/remake. Doesn’t need to be a big budget triple A game, just develop the stories, characters and refine the gameplay with online coop. Maaan Microsoft, what you doing?
But yeah, lending games out is a thing of the past. All understandable, we all made mistakes. Never again though! Thank you for enjoying and subbing!

Wow, nice "Halo" system & I'm jealous of the "Aliens vs Predator Extinction" which I can't find to save my life, one of the last games I'm going for with my own collection. I have the first "Blinx" but am looking for the 2nd one as a huge cat person myself.
This AvP Extinction game is odd. Never thought it would be a RTS kind of game when I got it but it is. Blinx 2 is definitely a fun one, especially if you enjoyed the first! If I ever see a good deal on them, I’ll let you know! Have you ever tried claim sales on Instagram, Dean? It’s a great way to pick up a lot of games common and rare for cheap.

@Scorpio Cesarcade Back, I think in 2016 I got so fed up with how toxic & negative social media had become that I left Facebook, Twitter & Instagram which I had just set up a account on. The downside is I miss the various gaming & car groups I had developed a lot of friends in, as well as now not being able to use FB Messenger or FB Marketplace to look for old analog TV's, consoles or games.
Honestly I don't blame you. Facebook is a shell of what it was. I keep it around mainly for family members and to keep tabs on them but everything gets lost amongst a bunch of ads. Twitter is full of toxicity but I thankfully met a lot of great people on there and channels through it so that's why I keep it around. Instagram has been a god send when it comes to claim sales. If you ever decide to sign up for it again, I know a bunch of claim sellers that you can follow. :)

They really did a great job with how they ran on the Xbox One/Series of systems. Just when it was getting really good they just stopped. I really don’t understand why they make the decisions they make anymore.

Not a bad little collection. My og xbox collection is 430 +. I started collecting for the xbox years ago. Some really solid games but is missing quite a few. X-men legends 1 and 2 also marvel ultimate alliance are mandatory. Medal of honor the European is the third released on Xbox. Ratatouille on Xbox is a gamestop exclusive and is recommended. Gta San Andreas AO rating is sitting in my collection. Dead to rights 1 and 2 is missing from your collection. Lego star wars 1 and 2 are good but 2 is better. I could go on all day. I'm having a tough time adding games to my xbox collection since I have so many and I'm not trying to add sports and dance dance revolution as fillers or barbie games. I have Madden 2006 for burnout revenge and Madden 2009 since it's the last one made for xbox. Stubbs the zombie is a must own. Maybe a third of my xbox collection came from a retro game store in a Chicagoland suburb. The Chicago enforcer is a decent bad game and is worth a playthrough. The og xbox, ps2, ps3 and switch are some of my favorites to collect for. GameCube, wii and wii u are cool to collect for. Buffy the vampire slayer chaos bleeds is good. Teen titans for xbox is pretty rare and I have bought from ebay more than a few years ago before the price went up. When I bought Futurama back in 2008 for $7.00. That's a good purchase.
Awesome recommendations here, been looking to get Chicago Enforcer at some point as well as Stubbs despite it getting ported to recent consoles. It’s just a game I feel right about owning it on the OG Xbox. Your Xbox collection sounds amazing! I just recently added a bunch of games to the collection this month, MOH European Assault is one of them.
13:28 - Sadly, Midtown Madness 3 is ONLY on Xbox. There was never a PC port, and I'm not sure if there were any plans to do so. It would've been sick, though.

I know this is somewhat old so your collection may have changed but I recommend the true crime streets games as well as metal arms. I also like phantom crash but it is not the best mech game out there or even on the og Xbox. Definitely going to check some of these games out that you mentioned in the vid though, hadn’t even heard of some of them
So I just recently picked up True Crime New York so now I just have to pick up the first game. Only a matter of time. Metal Arms I already have on the GameCube. Phantom Crash is definitely…something. Didn’t leave a good first impression given the walls of text boxes I had to get through but I probably need to play more. Definitely do so! I plan to make spotlight videos on random exclusive Xbox games in the near future. 🤟🏼😁

Loving this collection! You need to find cases for the ones that don’t have them to have a complete set. The Xbox games were still great to collect because of their manuals.

Thank you Alie! I have the spare cases ready for them but I just need to buy more ink for my printer. Sometimes if I find a claim sale going on and they’re selling one of those loose games for cheap, I’ll just rebuy it especially if it’s complete. 😅

sad to see you have GTA III but not GTA Vice City as it a double pack & as far as i remember it was never released as singles it was double digi pack & then it was the triple pack with GTA III/vice Ciy/San Andreas I was 2002 when released in europe Great hardware and Halo Combat Evolved was "THE GAME" nice collection tho
I do have Vice City, it was just a loose disc in the binder of shame portion of the video early on. I’ve got to find a case/manual for it soon! It’s probably my favorite of the three GTAs of that era. 🥲

@@ScorpioCesarcade Last time I checked it was not, and it most likey never will be.Its an xbox exclusive game from a japanese company that no longer exists. that means this game is out of print and will remain out of print until a company buys the license.that will never happen. the game is rare and its becoming harder to find a complete game.I was telling people about dino crisis 3 before the price hike, now I see this game is on the same path.

@@ScorpioCesarcade That's very good the other listings are around $70 phantom crash is one game I don't see being remastered. You also have games like Crazy Taxi 3, and Dino crisis 3 that have also not been remade but once they get remastered the value will drop, and it would be a good time to pick them up. And not many people know about Crazy Taxi 3 you can get it cheap. also games like Stubbs the zombie and House of the dead 3 have been remade for the but would be good to get.
Mix and matching is not collection, if all the serial numbers are match that is a complete game not some junk that someone is mix and matching
