Knee high clover and the Cub is not breathing hard. Good stuff Farmall Fanatic, good stuff! Looks really good too! Thanks for sharing this stuff with us!
Good work. ❤ You have proved that you don't need an expensive 200-hp tractor and a butterfly mower to get the job done. Now you need some bees to make some clover honey.
That was fun. I bet that smelled good. I love watching the cub mowing. I will have to consider getting one of those. Thanks for sharing and I'll see you later.
Excellent video Geno :) yes that Dauls help on grip on Cub plus mower deck too very nicely and yes chop like Sickle Mower does too ! Very good and did great too ! Red Power Boom 💥 and that tall cutting for sure ! I have see that tall in year's and 1993 was last time seeing that tall and remember rakeing hay also straw rows with rake and got super yeild for Square bales to besides crops!
I really enjoyed watching the video! I remember as a kid my grandpa went through seats on his 656 but I would say he had a lot more a$$ hours than most people. We have been staying on top of mowing the back field for a few years now and the Dutch White clover is really starting to fill in nice as well. I want a better way to mow and bag it then with my lawnmower it's too slow and time consuming. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!
The clover must be really happy. It went crazy. Looks like a nice field. The clover looks like too much fun was had. And the duels on that man that is just awesome. Well, one can never have too much fun.😊 I will have to pinch my pennies and get one similar and kind of copycat that because I just love that with new wheels that looks just so mean that’s an inspiration love it❤
It looks like that belly mount mower makes maneuvering easier but we always ran a rear mount brush hog and hammermill style mower on our 51 Cub. It made cleaning out corners and tree lines a lot easier and neater. We also had a spring fed creek running through the bottom of our field so being able to back up to that kept it looking downright manicured.
Our Church had a cub with the 5 foot brush hog. We did 5 acres and the mower skids were about an inch off the ground so the grass was about 3 inches mowed. The grass looked pretty good doing it once a week. Also we had the non directional or turf tires so it would get stuck and need a pull to get out of a a wet spot. You must have been mowing about 4 inches. All the rabbits and mice run to the center of the field and when you do that last past you see them running all over the place.
I was surprised how the cub handled that job when I was in high school they had one it was the newer version with square hood painted yellow and white it wouldn’t hardly pull the mower in tall grass I am sure the blades were as dull as possible and probably needed a tune up I have often thought about a cub just to mow around barns and such but was afraid it would be underpowered thanks for sharing this I will have to reconsider
Yeah im pretty sure it was a finish mower type I also think is was a 60 inch one to it was used to mow the lawn but if the grass got tall it really struggled that’s been several years ago lol and knowing how they took care of equipment I believe it would have done much better if blades were sharp and tuned up those little tractors have good torque just like all the red power tractors I have ran we used to raise a fair amount of tobacco dad had a a I had a super c my cousin had a cub we all cultivated with those I loved hearing the governor open up when you dropped the cultivators in the ground
Them duals sure make it look bad ass.
That clover is sure building the soil back up and great weed control where it thick.
NICE JOB FANATIC !!!
I'm excited for the future of this field

I really enjoy watching and listening to the tractors doing their work.

Never underestimate the power of the Farmall Cub especially when it comes to mowing. "A Cub in size, a Bear for work!"😊
That is exactly true
What a calming video to watch. It’s interesting how watching this I could almost smell the fresh cut grass. 👍🏻
It was that wet green smell only clover offers
You're rollin over in the clover! Looks good.
The Cub sounds great too!!

Those duals look mean on the Cub too!!
Loved the vid! I just had to clean up the homemade farmall cub earlier. A few large dents I discovered in it
A very satisfying job. Great video. All the best 🇬🇧.
Thanks you too
You've got the Cub doing exactly what it was designed to do. It sounds and looks great. BTW, I like the two-toned seat as well.
👍
10 hp’s and effortless ! That’s great !🇺🇸
You just have to have the right mower under you

I'm glad I bought it
That was some great tractor therapy time 🙂
One of my best purchases
The old cub may only have ten horsepower, but it has the torque to get the job done.
Good filmography on that video.
Thanks.
Whoa😮 clovers taking over!
Love it

I am the proud owner of a 1858 IH lowboy .
Nice 👊
The Cub was chewing it up!
I used a friend's cub once and my weeds had gotten too tall. I was wishing it had a slower gear than 1st
Just raise the deck up on the first pass
She's was eating that clover like nothing!😮
She's a keeper
i have a cub grew up with it always had fun my only issue with it now is bottom part of radiator busted trying to get fixed when have funds
Now you have a wide open lane for woodchuck thinning
That's definitely gonna happen
The person complaining about you talking too much got their wish in this video. Can I complain about not enough talking or rhyming. 😂💥🚨💯🎯👍🍻
Nice mixture lol
7:18 need your camera person to talk😂
Trust me you don't want them to lol 🤪
That would make good hay
How big was the field the Cub mowed and how long did it take you to cut it?
3.5 acres...not sure on the time
I see you found someone to show you how to do that job right. She even videoed it to make sure you did.
She's a he 🤣
@@FarmallFanaticI didn't know there was more than one hillbilly?

I don't know if you spoke about your life off youtube and the history of your property and it ownership before?
I don't think I have
You need a couple of calves.
I would, but i'm on the road 4 and 5 days at a time
You could swath and bale it!
I could for sure
