We call em telephone poles in Missouri too, even though the telephone cable was mostly moved underground years ago. The sharpshooters just can't help themselves, I guess. I can see why the cub guys love those tractors, too. I can't think of any other machine that comes close to offering what they do at that size.
Love your walk around and seeing you using the equipment .we have a Bush hog and use a international 460 utility. Just like the one behind your H great machine .Great seeing a working farm and the auction excursions as well thanks again 🇺🇸
I wonder…when you said you don’t prefer a front end, then immediately interjected “narrow front end,” how many of those sharpshooters were ready to start clackin them keys but got pissed when you corrected yourself. Good work squashing the haters hahaha
Excellent video like you I just love my seat time 👌 unfortunately at moment my B250 in dry dock decided to rewire it as wiring was original and getting very brittle 🙄 bought a loom that had an OEM part number and it's definitely not OEM as wiring for glow plugs is like 1.8 mm as opposed to original 5mm minimum so building my own 👍
Can we get some videos of engine rebuilds soon, I think you said the 400 loader needs one and the h how’s the m doing? Can we get more M videos please?
I like Hercules and it's wide front end. It has that get out of the way, I'm coming through look. The Farmall Cub. The little tractor that could, did and still does.
Is it cost prohibitive to put clover in crop rotation to let it put nitrogen in the soil for a year at the time? I know it would be cutting into some of the cash crop acres.
What brand is your “bush hog” that you pulled behind your “h”? I have a 6.5 foot one with the same gearbox and dual blades, and the same pto with supported shaft. The guy I bought mine from didn’t know what brand it was and mine has no tag. Your rear wheel setup is different than mine but I like yours better.
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood A woodchuck would chuck all the wood a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood
The Cub and H do a great job. Our H had low oil pressure when it warmed up too. But I tried to start it last winter and got NO oil pressure. So We will investigate as to why. Oftentimes it is because the bearings are worn, but not always. Maybe there's not as much wrong with your H as you think.
@@FarmallFanatic 30 is plenty heavy enough. It could be the relief valve and it could be a weak oil pump. And bad bearings but not when you lose oil pressure entirely.
I enjoyed watching you use the old girls! I did some ph testing throughout my property and I need tons of lime.. I have to get some brush hogging done this weekend because the next 14 day forecast shows bunches of rain. My grass and cover crop is growing like crazy just in the past couple of days. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!
Both tractors are good for what you use them for. The H done a great job with the corn field getting it cleaned up for whatever your doing with it now. Great content and hopefully see more soon.
Nice to see the cub and H brush hogging .The H looks a little strange wonder why Farmall put the front end out so far out on the early years .Any way we have a brush hog just like you have on the H and we have a international 460 pulling the brush hog and lots of wild clover the grass gets over 2 1/2 feet tall and super thick but the 460 purrs right along and happy thank you for your video s and the auction ones too keep that red a purring🇺🇸🤔
I got to introduced you to my grandmother she sits by the old rotary phone all day waiting for it to ring I keep telling her grandmother the phone will never ring there are no telephone poles and lines any more
Great to see you out enjoying the sunny weather. It doesn't seem that we get enough of that in the area (from NE Ohio) but I love it here! I miss mowing with the ....950 with a 7' flail mower. It had the middle weight hammer/knives on it, but would probably do a great job on mulching if you dropped a gear to slow down a bit. I mowed at an 80acre faculty so it was a life saver, plus it rolled the lawn flat every time you mowed. Not sure how many HP that Yanmar 3 cylinder diesel was but it was quiet and smooth even if not really strong. Wish I had that thing it was 20 years old when I used it and was in great shape. That was one of the best jobs I had! As long as I could leave that damn line trimmer in the shop! Those duels would help a lot if you found a wet spot! Do all or most of the Farmalls have a diff lock?
Come get yer act together! That's a electrickel pole! Neglect ya should have had that erl changed by now. Burn ul contaminate the atmosphere. Them tree grass huggers will be beatin yer door down! 😂😅 LOL Great video oh yeah and get that cat fed!
Wow, that’s cool I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cub with dual tires, so if you were to have purchased one of these Farmall tractors new would you get the equipment that you needed with the tractor to make it a narrow front and a wide front or would you have to purchase whatever the tractor didn’t come with if you wanted to have both options?
Just got done hogging the right away as well with the new to me 42c-2 on the 48 cub. I’m having issues with the engine bogging and slow to self govern back up. Got a carb rebuild kit, any other suggestions?
I like both to wide front and narrow front end on an farmall H and the farmall H that was the first tractor that I drove at my grandparents house no power steering it was a tremendous tractor to drive but when I drove it home it would shoot fire a foot high out of the exhaust pipe and it was the best running tractor that I had the pleasure to drive 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing the seat time. It was . they both did a great job. And I still call them telephone poles, because that's what I've always called them. Guess I'm old-fashioned 😂😂. See you later. Looking forward to the next ride.
You nailed it with the neglect statement. We've talked about it before. These old tractors go on and on as long as they're taken care of. Jerry Mezz was great about it. Climate control and his own mechanic. Well worth traveling to Iowa and was blessed to meet him and see his collection. One more thought about your clover field. Could fence it in and raise a couple of beef calves. Just an idea.
I lost it at " excuse me, a power pole" Ya just can't please em all Farmall, I put up a short on my channel of testing out an antique mower and of the ten comments on there, 9 were positive and one guy had to critique the mowing job 🙄🤣
Nice. I just finished my restoration of the McCormick deering 30 manure spreader took it to school for the presentation and got an A

That farmall C does an amazing job on cutting and the farmall H does an outstanding job of cutting corn stocks 👍👍👍
Very cool options!! Thank you for sharing my friend!

Some folks might think a Cub with duals is strange and weird but I think it's very cool. Great video.

Just like watching your channel. I look forward to your new videos.
Thank you for saying that! We want talk, and action to back it up!!!🤜🤛
