I found you through some of your Subaru stuff as I'm a Subaru guy but started watching this Evo build and definitely dig your workmanship content.

My vote is leave the valve cover the gray. Looks better to me than Changing it to yellow.

You are correct. No matter what make and model you drive, you should always respect other people with different builds. It’s not just courtesy it’s respect.
It’s just the bottom manifold studs you need to put rtv on.

I think the grey valve cover looks super clean imo, on the other hand as far as the brakes go maybe they need some flair lol. Even the oem red would look good

It calls for 2 1/2 qaurts i believe 1 qaurt 10w30 and 5w30 with it full sythetic in the gear box check the speaks of fluid qaurts and add the 5w30 after

Devin you should look at getting a metal table on wheels so when you drop an engine you can drop it directly on the table instead of doing the floor + hoist method

I think the issue is your cameras attenuator settings & the gain being too high in either the cameras mic settings or the DJI mic causing peaking making those weird distorted noises.

I can definitely hear you and the car exhaust equally now but the overall audio sounds lower quality. Louder sounds appear to crackle imo

#DevinNiemela build a cast iron block or magnus with magnus intake and throttle body and the gaskets that are clear white keeps it cooler and ill tell you steps by the day 11:50

The problem with people who drive modified cars (especially "JDM" cars I've noticed), is a lot of them aren't actually "car people," they just drive the shit to seem cool. It's bad enough to where a lot of people won't even give a wave back if you ARE driving the same platform these days. Just know that there are a lot of us that would appreciate the wave and would wave back. Anyone who doesn't is just insecure imo.
