It is ok if DeBrusk only gets 20. His job is to get Petey better. If Petey becomes a star again and the team is winning especially in play off, that is a success for DeBrusk.

I think it will be Peety Hoglander and De Brusk. Although I do like the idea of trying Heinen, hogs has earned the right to play there, in my opinion, so I hope he wins the spot.

I got burnt yesterday as well Trev. Took my shirt off for 20 min power washing...yikes High UV levels ppl. Face and neck r okay since they see sun a lot and arms.
I am still feeling it today. Any time I'm in the sun it reminds me of the pain. LOL And I'm going paddle boarding tonight. I'm crazy. Hope you are feeling better soon.

But I think miller and Boeser will have a bit of a rotation of the hot hand.
I really dont see Hoglander on the 4th line. I know he had a rough playoffs but it was his 1st one, there is a learning curve. He should be better from it.
I agree that Lekkerimäki might make it. He will be good, I just think he might need time to adjust. He noted the difference of how much time is spent on the boards. I think he will come in prepared.
D Petty looks good. I think he will be a call up if/when Broberg gets hurt.
If Big Hog struggles, he'll find himself on the 4th line and Sherwood will probably play with Petey. Sherwood with his edge and speed will give Pettersson a kick in the ass to get going. He's sleepy a lot of games because he's worried about this online video games/up late at night.
It's great that we have a lot of options. I'm pumped to see what Tocchet actually does with the line combinations.
Hoglander still scores even when he doesn't play in the top 6. We will see how Tocchet manages Sherwood. It's exciting to think about.

i think you should forget about line mates just yet and determine the types of players needed to make each line cup contenders. eg, scoring, playmaker, board battler, speedy fore checker, grit and strong defensively.
DeBrusk is a playoff producer. I hope he's a great fit in Van.
I like the lines but i think Linus Karlsson will get a shot this year, its mine and Allvins prediction
I thought he was going to get a shot but it is hard to see where with the signings they made.

I need to see more offensive upside from Karlsson. He rarely gets scoring chances while he's out there.

Edmonton has 2 2/3 good lines. Perry is cooked and that 4th line is garbage....but they still are probably the team to beat with how good those top 2 lines are
To me they got better and were one game of winning the SC. They have to be the odds on favs. I hope we knock them out.

They just got rid of their defence and went all offence when Florida just one the cup after switching from offence to defence 🫠
They look better than last year. I think they will be the team to beat in the West but I hope the Canucks knock them out.
