I would love to read a book from you on HOW you raise your adopted children. How do you strengthen their self-esteem, sense of self, how you deal with haters, how you teach them about their biological origins, all of that. Not necessarily from a factual scientific perspective (because lots of those books exist) but more about how you do it personally. And then also how raising adoptive children has changed your parenting. Okay lol, I'm going to watch the rest of your video now but I just wanted to get that out.

I am adopted and grew up knowing I was. There is an old book my parents used to read to me which is called” the Family that Grew” about adoption and how an adopted child is chosen, which makes them special.. my copy is in pieces but it is one of my most precious possessions. Don’t know if it is in print now but it is such a special book for an adopted child

So sorry you have been having some internal struggles! This year has been so hard on everyone. Would love to hear more about it and your coping mechanisms when you’re ready. I had a baby in April and have been on PPD meds. Trying to stay positive every day that this will end soon and we will get to see friends and family again and get some help with the kiddos. Love you and your channel!

A book about how you cultivate your heart for family. In this day and age, what you are doing in your successful *MARRIAGE* where you raise 8 children together is incredibly counter cultural. It wasn't always. A book about getting back to the roots of family life and how you cultivate your heart for marriage and motherhood.

Oh my gosh Muppets Christmas Carol is the best Christmas film ever. I live in Derby in the UK and last Christmas the cathedral showed it on a large screen which was the most amazing experience to watch. I am not normally a Christmas lover due to past Christmas experiences but with all the stuff going off right now, I feel the need to celebrate something. So Christmas it will be. 😀🎉

also, I’m really impressed with the manner of women you are. You inspire me to be closer to Our Heavenly Father and focus on the manner of woman and mother I am. Have you shared about your upbringing? I’d love to know how you’re able to “tap into” those strengths of confidence and collectedness. I often feel like I don’t measure up. I can be very militant on myself and I become overwhelmed and discourage. I know you’re human and all, but you seem to have a good grasp of things. It’s hard for me to imagine myself in your shoes.

Would you please write a children's book on embryo adoption? I have a 3 year old and am currently pregnant, both being conceived from embryo adoptions. I have only seen a couple books and nothing that really comes from a Christian perspective. While my 3 year old knows she's adopted and completely loved and so wanted, I really need something for her to read and is tangible that she can say that's my story; see how special I am.

I had been meaning to watch this video since yesterday but with homeschool and working hadn’t had time til this morning. We have a rule in our large family that we never eat out more than once every couple weeks. So last night we decided to go get burgers for take out. The kids grabbed the dogs for our car ride- one of which is a 10 week old labradoodle puppy. He got scared and pooped all over the 3rd row- it was such a mess and I got so frustrated cleaning it for 30 min afterwards. So thank you for sharing your poop story! It made me feel a little bit better!

Completely agree with your analysis of your adoption journeys. Our first one started very wide open but thankfully we got matched with our older 2 in 9 months so we had a goal we were pushing for at the end. But it was all very non-date constrained initially, and we felt like there was little we could do to control the process. Our second time was for their twin younger brothers, so it was a done deal that we would be adopting them unless something went completely sideways. Everyone was working toward the same goal to finalize their placement with us and very much looking to make that happen as quickly as possible.

If you aren't already, start journaling little stores and experiences that you and your family have. I just love listening to you talk about your family. You are a strong lady a Amazing Mommy and a wonderful wife and a sweet daughter ❤. I raised 3 daughters think every Mom is quite Amazing we do it all. Just seems to never stop but we just keep on going when my kids were in middle school and high school I took 5 kids in that their families weren't treating them good. I took on working 2 8 hour jobs then a 3rd job a couple of the kids were out of school and working but they were living in their cars so they helped get my kids fed and to their after-school activities. It's not easy being a single mom i got a divorce after my 3rd child was 1. I never got a dime from their Dad. I never had enough money for bills or food. I went days without eating as long as the kids ate that's all that counted
I'm so glad I found your channel. I love animals we had about every kind of small animals and can't tell you how many cat's and dogs we had during the 18 years my kids were home. People dropped off dogs all the time we had 2 acres then another 10 in back with a pond we rented. My kids loved animals too. They were always begging me to take a animal when someone was giving it away. Thanks for sharing your lives with us. 😁❤

As a chicken mom (lol), if you get silkies make sure you careful when mixing them with other “normal” chickens. Because they look so different other chickens will peck at them badly.

I really think you should write a book about the after math of adoption. Post adoption depression, bonding, trauma ect.

Enjoy your videos! I have to ask you why you chose llamas for your new mini farm? I have heard that llamas can be difficult animals, but alpacas are great animals to raise. Wondering why llamas were your choice.

Alpacas are just as difficult... They all spit at you if they dislike you or if you do anything unpleasant... I am a vet:)

I love you and Your husbands flirtiness and picking, it is not the most conventional and it is another look at a relationship for us younger and it has honestly I admire y’all. The conventional, sitting in each other laps giggling fairytale is all we see and people think that if that isn’t their relationship then there is something wrong.
