I have the Ben Caldwell Action! Cartooning book, but I didn't know these existed until I watched this video. Great work, and thanks for the video. One of my favorite channels on all of TH-cam.
Oh cool how is it!? I keep looking at it, but the previews I have seen make it look a little more basic and older than these sketch books in terms of his skills, but I could be wrong, and I am still tempted to get it now just in case there are any gems in it!
@@SketchedbySte That's a good description of it. It's fairly basic, but there's good information and instruction inside. It's not on the level of the books you have. I've seen it for less than 5 bucks. Well worth that.
Yeah I was really impressed with his sketchbooks! I keep being tempted to pick that how to draw book up and see what it's like, but I wasn't sure, is it aimed more towards beginners / kids / basics?
Hello, I'm a huge fan of Ben, He uses all types of media depending on the piece, he uses his finger to smudge the pencils. It's almost a signature of his.
Thanks for sharing! Ahh yes, I could see the pencil was smudged but I just assumed it was a blending stump, but finger may work even better. I do love the look though! :) Have you got any of the other sketchbooks? Thanks for watching
I was curious about them and how much shipping would be. Sadly it they do not deliver to Germany or at least the one book I put in. Still another great video... keep it up!
Hey! For me ( in the UK ) I know there is a message on the website that says for international deliveries, send them an email so they can get you a quote. From memory it was in the description on the left hand side of the sketchbook / product page. So it may be worth asking :) Thanks for watching!
