This interview interest me so much because my husband used to be in the sheriff department years ago and how his personality changed the whole time he worked as one. When he decided it wasn't for him I breathe a sigh of relief. I couldn't be happier and the kids as well when they got their gentle, sensitive and loving daddy back. Enjoy the Philippines, sir and just take it one day at a time. Blessings on your new journey.

I can’t wait to get moved there to the Philippines, the process has already started only a month away, the USA is turning into a third world country, lots of issues from tyranny to corruption and governments diluting the constitution.. making it very difficult for many people. Very toxic media, politics and division.. it almost feels like it’s all made by design for a reason, I have a bad for what’s to come.. hopefully I pray to god it will all soon get turned around for the good.. maybe I’ll be back but till then I’m getting off the sinking ship.

I joint a forum once with US grps. I said thé US will soon become a Banana Republic if the system don’t change. Too much Capitalism, loss of empathy. The vital line of the society which is actually the government service “ for the people” were the universal health care and Education. But they commercialize these areas that kills everyone financially and ended up more drug addicts. It’s becoming a cancer society, full of hates and competition. Humanities lost.

It's so great to see this gentleman get away from the stresses of the job. Long time ago as a child I would have nightmares, until I realized during the nightmare that it was just that. Currently renting out my house for around 2K, which sounds like a good revenue stream, but not so much after you calculate the expenses of renter filed maintenance tickets, general upkeep, home owners insurance, state and local taxes, property taxes, income tax on the revenue, property management fees, renter turnover and repairs, utility costs when not being rented, HOA fees, this is assuming the house is paid off with no mortgage.

People like that are one of the reasons a long with the soaring cost of living here, why I will not miss the Australia of today, which I am really sad to say. I plan to eventually move to the Philippines as my lady is a Filipina but it won't be for a while. Hopefully he gets a few days and weeks of some relaxation and he'll cool down.

I know, because for much the same reasons, I have it too.
I hope this guy finds a friend that understands what it's like to have been in those situations and deal with the vivid nightmares that never seem to end.
Your statement about being afraid to go to sleep is extremely true. I take medication that essentially makes my sleep devoid of dreams, I have for years.
And as he said, when im in the Philippines, it's all gone. The tightness in the chest, the always scanning crowds for danger and possible threats, gone.

I can totally understand this Man. Australia is a mental health nightmare.
Looking forward to getting my family over there to the Philippines soon. Paradise! Totally safe & beautiful in my wifes town Bolinao Pangasinan.
Crime in Australia is totally out of control. Very unsafe for our children here. Youth crime is at crisis point. This police officer is spot on with his description of the failed justice system in Australia. It is a living nightmare here. Also cost of living is shocking & food & no community, no one knows or talks to their neighbours. I lived in Sydney for 5 years & the crime in which he is talking about is to do with Lebanese, middle eastern gangs etc.
He doesn’t know why he buys these motorbikes etc.. it is installed into peoples heads in Australia consumerism gone mad, there is not much else to do then buy stuff 😂

The problem will come when he has to engage with the real life retired police guys. What does he mean he can't talk about his secret missions to "take out the bad guys". He was a police assassin was he? He was a 'Batman' was he? He was a policeman for a few years and has tremendous PTSD from what now.. from having to kill so many people does he? The average person cannot have any idea of the special knowledge he has. Really? Around 30:00 you might see what's really going on. If it wasn't for blokes like him the world would be anarchy and chaos (his mind is those things) but its where he says "..I just wish someone would walk past me and say 'good job' and would shake his hand. Its why he became a hermit.. the lack of appreciation. There we see how we get a normal working man into another 'Secret Assassin who saved the world and is also a victim extraordinaire too" and it's actually quite a tragic thing. A sad sad story of modern life. He'd be better off to just give up on the Secret Assassin stuff and carry on enjoying life and don't care about social status or trying to bend out some psychological justifications in life.
