Most of the comments here sound like a bunch of ungrateful, whinny wankers. What are you seriously complaining about? You saw the title of the video, the man delivered what else do you want? If u dont like the video then don’t watch it. Ya’ll sound like liberals.

@@simplestreetinterview I really feel sorry for you. Your comment section is full of dimwits. But then again, it’s a youtube comment section, you can’t expect much from it. Just do you, brother, you are doing well.
I just have one question I was hoping you could answer, how much time did it take to film this video? I’m thinking it must have been really hard since you interviewed a very diverse group of people.

Around 5 hours. I do think that paints an extremely inaccurate picture of the whole filming process, however. It's just that I'm very amicable and convincing, which in turn made people rather comfortable, that's why they joined the interview. A more realistic time frame would perhaps be 16+ hours, extending to several days, owing to the humongous number of people who weren't down to be interviewed. And lastly, I just want to say thank you so, so much for sticking around-- you've been here since the infancy of this channel! Stay based, brother!

Contrary to some comments here, I actually really like your style of interviewing. You don’t beat around the bush and just get the job done. I guess many people don’t like that approach since they expect the interviewer to be overly enthusiastic and pretend to be “buddy-buddy” with a total stranger. I prefer your straightforwardness than the false sincerity and friendliness of other interviewers. As a long time subscriber I’m happy that your channel is finally getting the recognition it deserves!!! Keep up the good work!!!

I don't know why people are still surprised that we are already westernized, when the Philippines and Filipinos have been around for several hundred years (1521 onwards). We might even be more westernized than some other countries in Europe. US influence plays a major part in our daily life, such as english language, the 2nd official. Our laws, gov't forms and books are all written in english. English is the medium of instruction in all subjects, except Filipino, and in all levels, starting primary up to college. Also, our national laws and constitution is partly based on the US system and laws.
We follow some american infras - buildings, houses, bridges, transpo (cars, bus, jeep, trains). We watch a lot of hollywood movies, sing english ballads in the karaoke and wear jeans and shirts most of the time. We like burgers, fries, chips, sausage, ice cream, cake, and all american junkfoods lol.

Yeah i agree with you..i was already thinking of this...i am also surprised that we are foreigners are surprised to find out that we are westernized...i watch a vloger from australia, england, american etc and they said that the Philippines is more like a South American country than asian..because of cultures and traditions..but our english speaking skills were not given noticed ,only when you remind them that we speak english...and you are right, the Philippines has been in the world stage since the 1500's unlike other asian neighbors because of the Spanish colonization..as one great journalist of ours Maximo Soliven (deceased)said that 'The Filipinos are regarded as the great brown race' by the world.

9:22 Yeah Jasper, it's really so quick here in Finland-NOT! There are lots of old people here and they like to socialize with the cashiers
as that's the only time they get to talk to a person. Also in Finland if you need assistance from a sales person, you'd be lucky to find one.
If you're that lucky, you'd need to wait as it's more than likely they're engaged with a person with "issues" with some product or something
that would take ages to resolve

For me the reasons why foreigners choose the Philippines to leave here is that the expenses here is way cheaper than their own country. Next is the communication skills since most Filipinos speak English here so they don't have any difficulties asking for anything here. The next is the people living here who are very welcoming and friendly to other races. That is the most important aspects to consider if you want to leave to a foreign countries.

Well looks like someone admire your questioning style not necessarily an interview but it leaves most of us vlog watcher reviewer hanging because we're expecting more than hi and goodbye unless you are creating a vlog for your own personal viewing that I can understand that your main objective is to not create a follower. All questions inquiries that starts with what who where when, how are all direct questions but most people with inquisitive minds would probably be curious as to how your interviewee came about to arrive in their conclusion as there's always a story behind a story but objectively some are just not interested in whatever else people have to say sometimes in this case vlog content may become more relatable to general viewers.

Don't listen to other people, you can make short talk but you can decide not to include it in the video and focus on the question like asian boss does. Why would anyone want to watch a long ass vid. (Tho I think you forgot to ask the Chinese woman why she was here)

The interviewer seem biased. Seem he wanted only good comment for the Philippines on this content... Still more to learn about interviewing. Some behavior and etiquette in questioning needs to be corrected.

A bit superficial, follow through questions lack depth. You r constrained by time so ask only very relevant follow through questions. Why do you say, 'i agree', your opinion here is not important.

Answering with "right" and "amazing" to a response is annoying as hell

Improve mo pa po yung pag interview mo, mag practice kapa kung paano makipag interact ng maayos at yung mas masaya sana na pag interview sa mga foreigner para hindi awkward tingnan. Yun lang naman napansin ko :)

There is really a very annoying and rude vibe from the way you conduct your interview.

youre questions are none sense, no substance, very basic!!
dont ask the specific work. instead are you here for visiting, or study. when they answered, they are here for "worked" dont asked what type of worked. you have to respect privacy. Be confident when doing interview. Ask something like favourite food, places, what can you say about shopping malls. goshhhh dont be redundant. atleast ask something different in every people dont ask the same questions over and over!!!!
