Another interesting fact I would like to add is that the harappans had trade relations even with the Greek civilization. Cotton was the major commodity. There is no conclusive proof that Harappans used ships or boats and it is proved that the trades happened using land routes. According to historians, it is widely accepted that a flood was the reason for the decline of the civilisation and there is proof showing the changes in course of the indus river.

I doubt that. Because the oldest sculpture of Tamil was 500BC. So it is not the oldest. If the saraswati civilization came to limelight than that means rig Veda which is one of the oldest text will be the oldest. As saraswati river came to extinction 4000-5000 years ago and rig Veda was written in the start of decline of saraswati river. After the declining of saraswati river the people moved to indus because both are close to each other. Keep in mind If u dig up india you will find civilization mostly everywhere.

I think the cities under the civilization must have turned into a desert due to lack of rains for many many years. Because of which the civilization perished and migrate to Gangetic plains and southern India. However, if Kumari Kandam is true, then the civilization from that region could have migrated to Harappa, Mohenjadaro and settled there 5000 years ago.
