I used to think it was a little self-righteous that he was laughing at his own material, but the more I watch it the more I'm endeared by it. It eliminates the separation between him and the audience and makes the atmosphere really comfortable. I love it. And he has every right to because he's hilarious.

A good comedian doesn't jump to the crowd for jokes. Making fun of individual peoples laughs, appearances is in no way funny. Borderline bullying behaviour. Dig into the hecklers because they are asking for it but not someone who is only laughing oddly, they came to laugh not to get picked on and laughed at in front a crowd of people. Humiliation isn't funny to me.
He is just a lovely, pleasant, adorable human being with the most sweet and endearing laugh. I think people go to his shows just because he is absolutely a joy to be around; his energy is infectious and delightful

That's why some people strictly watch comedy from the comfort of their own home, so that they don't have to subject themselves to such "horrid" behavior from the comedian. To wrap up what I am saying, if you go to a comedy club, don't forget to bring your sense of humor with you.
