Clearly the fight restarts because she’s using an even more advanced version of Sans’s “do nothing” technique
I like how in genocide and ONLY genocide, there's dialogue for when Martlet takes too much damage on the first turn...
Maybe you can actually somehow kill her on Genocide run without hacks, this is why she has this dialogue.

@@egor_2222i’m late, but it’s possible with attacking her with rubber ammo until she has enough hp to get killed with the ice ammo, then switch to ice then kill her

What if you use the fight button in Martlet's first phase on the genocide route (The final battle with her)? Because in the first phase you can't use the fight option and you are forced to take her down with the lasers.

I'm actually interested in whether or not Ceroba's shield is damaged by the FIGHT option, and if so if it scales with the damage you deal. I noticed it plays the visual and sound effect of it getting damaged but I never checked if it actually hurt the shield

I didn't realize Martlet has secret/unused dialogue in Genocide if you one-shot her [or at least defeat her before she actually realizes you're evil and starts her fight]. It almost reminds me of how Undertale's bosses generally work, being one-shot and all, so perhaps that was the plan for Yellow too (though Martlet may or may not have been planned to retreat anyways, since she has roles in the later parts of the game).
what happens when you take ceroba with you to steamworks chemistry labs. They are never avaible in the pacifist route so it would be cool to see what will happen

If it doesn’t crash the game it will probably lock you on pacifist or genocide, as those are the only 2 routes you can use the elevator in

Considering that most of the competition boils down to "fangame where there's only one fight against a hypervitaminized Sans and little else" while this game has a unique story, characters, mechanics, and lore while trying to stay true to the original game, are you really surprised?

@InnovationGuy999 she technically does, when getting below 50% hp she does an animation spinning her staff and her patterns get harder, but there isn't really a cutscene or anything. My guess is the fight would just end normally.

Sadly no, interestingly you can actually get hurt outside of fake scriptwd dmg, but if it foes to 0 the game just puts you in the game over, though strangely you can press retry and restart the fight
