Thanks to this video popping up, I was reminded that the Midgar track was released ahead of the next Season. I suppose it's allow people to get used to the track before it's included in the online races. 0:41 - Holy heck; I did not know you could access this short-cut on the first lap. Even the CPU Ghost did not know about it; they took the long way around. When I found out about it, the extra road was exposed like at 1:12. 3:13 - I see that short-cut exists in both versions of the track. Thanks for pointing it out. 4:53 - New track hasn't even been out for a day yet and here is you demolishing the ghosts at their own game. Bravo!

They did mention in the patch notes that some of the items from season 1 will return. As for characters and new tracks, no more.
