I use Hoopla on my phone (LG-Q7+) and my tablet (Amazon fire tablet 7th gen). I browse and download with no problem, but I've yet to access the streaming capability. I'm told to look for the "read" button, but I've yet to come across it. I mostly download the comics...is streaming not an option for these?
I'm wanting to download an ebook on hoopla that I've rented for an airline trip. Can't see the download button anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi Debbie! If you are in the app, once you click "Borrow" under an ebook title, it should immediately start downloading (there isn't a download button for ebooks, it will just start downloading). You should be able to click "Read" from there or navigate to the "My Hoopla" tab at the bottom of the app to see your current checkouts, then click on the ebook cover and click "Read" from there. Once an item is downloaded to the app, you will be able to read offline or in airplane mode. Hope this helps! Let us know if it doesn't work.
Hi! To magnify text in Hoopla, open an ebook and look in the upper right for this symbol: Tt. Click on the "Tt" and under "font size" you have the option to make the text larger. Then click "apply." If you're reading a graphic novel, you can click on a panel to magnify it and use the arrows to scan through the following panels. Hope this helps!

Hi! We don't currently do "flex borrow" at our library, so won't be making a video yet--but it seems like flex borrows work more like regular library ebook/eaudio checkouts--one copy per user.
