Duuuuude! :) This is one of the key things I've been wanting-some way to introduce melodic material to go with all the chordal stuff! Great substitute for the ribbon device-or you could have the ribbon available as an option. I've also been wondering about bigger chords, slash chords, jazz chords. You have the option for 6th and 7th chords, but no 9ths, etc. But of course I *am* aware this is just you on this. ;) Maybe a screen where users could build the chords of their dreams (kinda like that bit in Cubasis where you can program pads to play custom chords), and leave you out of it! ;)
I want to extend the chords / voicing option for sure. Thanks for the comments! You can edit the notes you want to hear over each octave from the "advanced scene" view, but unlike the "basic view", it's not specifically chord-oriented, so not quite so easy to do 9ths etc., but it is maybe possible, depending on the key / arrangement. On the one hand, tying everything to octaves / simple chords, simplifies things, but of course it's also limiting when it comes to (please forgive me) "Jazz chords".
Is there anyone who can show me step by step how this is done? I've experimented with it but no luck in getting this same affect so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks! Yes, you can use the new "touch" keyboard with the internal main A+B instruments, and also external MIDI - either standalone, or via an AU host such as AUM.
Just a quick note to say the 1.6.0 update with this new feature is available now.
Perfect 👌, wel done Rob, Touchscaper keeps improving all the time, well invested time and efforts, much appreciated here 🧡🧡🙏👍
Thanks for working so diligently, Rob! ✌🏾
Cant wait for this one. This and quick midi record/looping/overdubbing would be so perfect
Sounds great thank you very much Rob 😎👍🏼🐝
Stunning-again... (and again... and again!). Thanks, Rob!
well executed.. fantastic development of this app
Great to see touchscaper getting some love
That was really quite magical
Wow this looks and sounds great, Rob! :)
Thanks Colin! Amazing what you can do with a rounded rectangle these days!
Hope this comes out soon. So easy to be creative with this app even without much talent 🙃. What a great addition.
Very very nice!! Thank you!!

This looks amazing! Will you be able to use it with the regular touchscaper instruments too, or will it require AUM or something similar?
