I have been diagnosed with severe osteoporosis. I have had a spine fracture. I have been prescribed Tymlos daily injections. I have been doing therapy exercises for quite a while. I am so glad I found your channel. Need to change up my routine. I have pain in my middle back. I also have osteopenia in my feet and psoriatic arthritis. Most all my exercises are done lying down but I really feel the need to make some changes.

I have Osteoporosis and have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. The medication I am on contributes to osteoporosis and I am being proactive by combining your exercises with Dr. Lisa Moore's program. Thank you for mentioning knee replacements as I had one in May of 2023. These exercises are easy to follow and do. I "snack" on exercise already and I enjoyed your reference to it. I do squatting and reverse lunges daily. Planking 2 times or more for 1minutes each time. Push up on knees, wall, desk, kitchen counter, not on floor. I also swim 5 days a week for 40 mn. I wonder if these work out activities help with osteoporosis. I am 70. I don't see a change physically yet as I still fit in perfectly the same clothes for 20 years. But my joints are weaker than a year ago with achy body from arthritis in the morning until I started to move. The more I move the better I feel. That's the old age, no matter how healthy you are. I will walk in place starting today while watching the News. Thank you 💕
I have been diagnosed with Osteoporosis just before I was about to have surgery, so I was unable to have the surgery which was to screw in between my lower back discs, to free a trapped nerve . I was very pleased to find you online. It is very helpful and you are such a nice person.
Im 84 and had dexa which showed much decrease in right hip. Do have arthritis and osteoporosis. Dr. suggested fosamax which i do not want to take. I exercise at the Y. so your exercises will help me . Catherine

I just found you today and I'm so glad I did. I have shin splints that interferes with me being able to walk much, but I wonder if walking in the water is just as good. I go to the pool 3 days a week and I can walk in there. What else can be done in the water for osteoporosis? Thank you.

No, they are different. Osteoporosis is a bone disease that develops when bone mineral density and bone mass decreases, or when the quality or structure of bone changes. This can lead to a decrease in bone strength that can increase the risk of broken bones (fractures). Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease, in which the tissues in the joint break down over time. It is the most common type of arthritis and is more common in older people. People with osteoarthritis usually have joint pain and, after rest or inactivity, stiffness for a short period of time. I have an amazing program called AIM Fitness Online, where all of my daily exercise videos are safe for people with Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis. I have anterior spondylisthesis with moee than 25% between l4 and l5 and negligible disc or nothing and there is cyst in my right knee. Can i do these wxercises inspite of my lower back. I have arthrosis on my back, knee and neck.

I too feel it in my knees. Just recovered from a fracture below my knee. Wondering if sitting would give the same benefit until my knees are stronger.
