I think Graham has it right. It’s hard to hear because it’s low but you can hear the Fb, or E, right before the final chord. It’s not too bad to transcribe, just a lot of chords borrowed from the relative minor + the flat II chord. This modal mixture of having a major tonic and also a lot of chords borrowed from the minor mode is a very common and satisfying way to use harmony.
@@Quasar126I usually try to pick out the tenor and bass parts first; since they’re the highest and lowest, they’re the easiest to follow. From there it’s helpful to know what different chord qualities sound like, or in some cases what the color of each person’s voice sounds like. Then you can usually piece together “logically these are the last two notes of this chord, and it sounds like this person’s on this note”
Man, this is so cool! I just came back to this video. What’s exactly happening here? It‘s not a normal cry tag… The second to last bass note is a semitone lower, right? But there‘s also one line that‘s higher than usual at the end. Which line is it? And when does it go upwards? Is there sheet music for this version?
Hey Niko, do you have a discord anything to hang out in? I’m just curious cause you seem like an awesome guy to have quartet and just regular music conversations with.
They got me RIGHT with those overtones!
Don't think I've ever heard such a prominent 15th harmonic
Probably the resonant frequency in the room
That subtle nod of approval at end by Breen
Resonance is crazy. 🔥🔥🔥
that one dude trying to survive doing only one note without a breath is insane
0:17 HOLY SHIT 😮😍✌👏🤘👍💪😎😊
The harmony is next level, but that strong robust bass is absolutely INSANE 😮
So good man!
God damn. What are those chords? Absolutely brilliant execution
The first actual chord is Eb7 then it’s Abmin6, Cbmaj7, Fbmaj7, Eb on “I made you cry”
thanks bro !!!@@Graham_M
@@Graham_M you must have one hell of a set of ears

Amazing
People talk about the overtones . . . listen to those subharmonics!!!
What subharmonics?
@@NikoPorter bro underestimated your power
I think he meant the undertones generated from the harmony.
The only time this tag is acceptable
