As an American who has been to Canada many times I find that the Canadians are most gracious in the border crossings, and they're really pretty easy. The ones that are the most uncomfortable and sometimes the rudest are the ones coming back from Canada into America. I can't stand those Crossings and they're not so friendly.
My aunt once told the border patrol at the checkpoint in Tijuana, when they asked what we had, "I have pot." We all screamed, "No, you have A pot." She bought a painted flower pot. Yes, they did make us pop the trunk and they shined their flashlights in the car. It was embarrassing.
I liked the "jerky" film sequence. Don't do it too often I'll get sick. But it was a cool change. Do you always unhook? Looked like you were at the lobster boil only 1 night. We frequently stay connected, makes departure easier. Just use landing gear to take a little weight off the truck.
So cute and funny how nervous Chris was. I do understand why. Crazy how much of the Canadian population lives south of the Twin Cities. Looking forward to your visit.
Welcome to Canada, are you going to come into Ontario. Your office equipment mention would raise more questions because if you do not have a work permit you are not allowed to do any work in Canada (other then just your own personal work), you are not even allowed to volunteer to help a friend, like even put up a small fence. I thought being from Minnesota, you folks would have been to Manitoba for sure We cross all the time, but we are in Ontario & cross to Michigan & New York You had it right in order...and you are right... Entering the USA will be different. Being Citizens makes it a little easier, but with the camper they may do a walk thruk & yes they li,e to look in the fridge But hey....dont worry about now , you have Canada to explore & i will tell you it is beautiful out there and maritimers are the best bunch of folks you will ever meet Safe travels & welcome....cheers. We did a camping trip to Nova Scotia in 2022, when they asked me where we were going to, I was so nervous I couldn't remember... Doesn't need t be that stressfull, it just seems to happen!
Lovely camp spot there in Saint Andrews. We have been back and forth across the border with our trailer so many times. Never had an issue. Just hand them our passports and answer the questions. Not really a big deal unless you have something to hide. Continued safe travels......

Aaron mentioned the security cameras mounted on the RV. What video did you all show this on? Could you direct us to the episode. We are struggling to get our RING cameras mounted in a good location so it provides good coverage and we can leave it. How did you mount them? TIA

When did Canada start asking for passports? I’ve only had to show my Minnesota enhanced drivers license. Last summer I was pulled over while crossing in to Thunder Bay. I asked the Canadian border patrol if I was randomized and she said it was just my turn.
@@IreneIronTravels They told me they were going to search the car but by the time I entered their building I turned around and they were following me in and said I was cleared to go. They never went into my car. Thanks for going to Canada this year. I wasn’t able to go this year and I really would have liked to go on a tour of the maritimes
I like your videos but to act like an expert at crossing the Canadian border when you have done it one time. In over 40 years, I have never been asked about fruits and vegetables when entering Canada only at US customs coming home.

Every Canada crossing I’ve found to be pleasant. Crossing back to the US on a USA passport….searched every time.

OMG. We took the same FT Maritime in July/August, 2024. Awesome trip. We had a fantastic time.

Yes! Fantasy RV does tours all over the world for RVers in a caravan style or even a rally style like the Fiesta Ballon festival. Pretty cool!

I believe the enhanced ID still works for Canada and Mexico..we just have our passports. Sucks getting pulled over at random for sure!
