    Now - that's basically what I love about 7s. You get 3 Human coaches - and each of them plays different team: All Blitz, Ogre+Half, 2Thrower+2Catchers - they are totally different bands within the same reace.

      I like human only leagues. Where each team is an NFL team.

      Maciej, you are so right!! I am thoroughly enjoying the fact that most teams have 4 or more competitive rosters!!

    If Blood Bowl was real you would be a thrower agent.
    Ben: we want a max contract my guys the best thrower out there!
    Manager: you said that about your skaven and pro elf clients......

      Hahahaha! This is my favourite YT comment yet, Matt xD
      It's completely false though ;) hahaha

    I just played a game of 7s with my brother. We both played humans with 4 linemen, 2 blitzers, 2 catchers and a thrower (and yes I know that illegal but it was a fun exhibition game). We also had three rerolls each. Good way to start learning how to play after a decade away.

      Ok Ryan, that's just superb! Did your Bro enjoy it?? Who won? :D
      That's a great way to start relearning the rules!!

      @@BoneheadPodcast We played 1 half and he won 2-0. He got a 2 turn TD then intercepted to get a second TD. We slow played with friendly opposition coaching allowed. We both dressed 2 blitzers 2 catchers 1 thrower and 2 linemen offence and then on defence dressed a linemen instead of the thrower.

    I thought leader wasn’t allowed in 7s. Does it work differently or does it vary by league?

    • @mattellis3297
      @mattellis3297 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I like to think that 7s is the minor league for blood bowl. Therefore no one has proven themselves a " leader " yet.

    • @jmw23
      @jmw23 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It varies but the “official” rules recommend banning it.

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it's tournament dependent, the old NAF rules said "discouraged", but we've found that it's a cool point of difference for your team. And in a really skill limited environment, its 1 reroll over 6 turns vs Block etc over all turns! Adds an extra roster decision!

  • @jmw23
    @jmw23 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Your take on the Thrower in interesting. I have a 600k no skills added tournament coming up and I’m just not sure they’re worth it. I lose a Block piece if I take one, and without re-rolls I’m not sure I want to risk missing the catch.

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey JMW23! That's what I love so much about 7s - there's always a trade off!
      If you've got a no-skills tourney; the fact this guy has Sure Hands is definitely worth considering vs Block. I think Block is probably the correct choice, but a 3++ to get the ball is going to be very handy!!

    I was wondering about 2 Blitzers, 1 Thrower and 1 Catcher. Dunno how much that leaves you with - don't have the new rules yet

      Hey Andy!!
      2 Blitzers 170
      1 Thrower 80 (250)
      1 Catcher 75 (325)
      3 Line 150 (475)
      1 Reroll {OR} +1 Line, +Apothecary
      How’s that? You’ve got 2 great combat pieces, the SH guy, and a cheeky MA8 Dodger too!!

      @@BoneheadPodcast This is what I've been running in our little league (only two coaches, but 3 teams apiece). Thrower now has Accurate and one of the Linemen has Dauntless for taking down Big Guys.
