Looking forward to seeing Norse being played on your channel in Sevens, if it ever happens! 😀 They come with so many skills and rules, and their stars have special rules, ... but in Sevens, everything is simpler and playing Norse should feel just as smooth as before..!!

The Mixed bench roster looks awesome to me. If you get 2 primaries you can take wrestle on a Valkyrie and Leader on the other. Wrestle means you got a 5 out of 6 to pop that ball free unless they have sure hands and leader is just massive in sevens :)
And I thought Stand Firm should at least be mentioned on the ulfs or the Yeti. When you surf with frenzy it's always risky without it ^^

I like Stand Firm on frenzy pieces. Makes for a real scarry surfer and helps if your running the sideline

I'm starting a 7s league today running the norse, it's my first dive into BB but I think I've got the basics down. I've arrived at a variant of the 2U reroll proposed here, running a valkyrie instead of the reserve lineman. Maybe it's risky, idk
Starting roster:
3 linemen (150k)
1 beer boar ( 20k)
1 valkyrie (95k)
2 ulfwerener (210k)
1 reroll (120k)
595k total
Eventually that boar will be swapped for another valkyrie or a berserker, depending on how I perceive the game. Until then I think it'll be a useful tool for throwing in assists and fouls, harassing runners and the occasional good pick-me-up roll. Getting it killed might even be a good thing, letting me fill in journeymen until I get the money for a positional

What do you think of playing this roster in a sevens league:
3 linemen
2 Ulfwereners
1 Valkyrie
1 Beer Boar
1 reroll
And after game 1 or 2 the Beer Boar gets replaced with a Valkyrie.
Is all this info wrong? My norse build guide seems to say Linemen have Block, Drunkard and Thick Skull, not Surehands/Kick/Guard
Those are skills Ben is recomending you build onto them, he isn't saying that is what they start with
Again, I can't see making a roster for this team without at least 1 Valkyrie.

I think you missed the best norse build to be honest. 2 zerkers 2 vallyries 4 linemen. The 30k extra gold is a bit of a waste but I rather have the zerkers than the ulfwereners. If you run a 7s league with gold you got an apo for game 2.
I agree, I would run this, too.
In 7s i want to have Block, i want mobile players and I want to get a little bit of passing.
So a pair of valkyries is nice to have.
And if u got the choice between frenzy s4 and frenzy block, then the block is much more safer.
But if they still fall, then they still can Jump up
But all players are Av8+ downside. I WOULD UP GRADE Berzerker to wolf at least 1 str4.
I was just wondering why there is no love for the berserkers. I am no expert at all, I have played like 5-6 games total and running my first game with Norse tonight, but I was considering this very build... Have you tested it in the meantime?
Need to add a Spellcaster position to every team..blood bowl needs more magic!
