Before begining this process try to locate your local rehabber to tell them that you are attempting to reunite. Thanks for demonstrating the sock as a heater and letting us know what to do!

Hello thank you for this info. I found 3 newborns maybe less than a week old. Left them out for mom on Sunday and she was looking we saw her but she didn’t grab them I don’t think she really saw them. We brought them in overnight. We put them in a box with cloths to keep warm all day today but mom didn’t grab them, no one was home to see if she popped up. We plan to call wildlife rehab today when open. Wondering what else to do, but we feel that she still looking for them. Now we found the baby squirrel sound clip would the rehab let help reunite?

Hello! Thank you so much. The baby i am trying to help i think is 6 weeks. I'm going to try to reunite with mom...but this baby was chased by my cat...the baby ran to my husband for help. He is calm, doesnt have any marks or wounds. We do not have wildlife rehabilitation centers in my area. Any advise...recommend videos would be so helpful! This baby has fleas really bad...what if anything can i do about that? Thank you so very much!

Hi definitely play the squirrel crying it will help a lot. It’s the same with racoons. However, keep the rehabber in the loop and get her guidance but the crying sounds definitely will increase chances of success for re uniting especially if she’s looking for them. Try to keep the area free from people pets etc if possible for best chance
