*QUESTION* : What are the pros 👍🏾 and cons 👎🏾 of *YOUR* living situation? Apartment 🏢, townhouse, condo, stand-alone home 🏡?? Drop your advice in the comments below!! 😊👇🏾
The people in the apartments above me are very musical. Every afternoon around 4 someone plays the piano, thankfully they are not bad at it and it has become a pastime of mine to read and listen to them. Sometimes I hear a guy playing the guitar and singing though it comes from a different direction. He could be worse, though has woken me up from a few between shift naps.
You read my mind lol. I've been wondering about this for a while now and I really want a townhouse one day lol. Could you do a video on average townhouse prices and average HOA fees ? Thanks
I moved into my 1st town home after living in a town home/apartment I love owning it makes you feel like you can do more with owning your own house it's a different feeling than renting but I do miss the maintenance and not worrying it's not worrying if something goes wrong but but I'm in a new construction also so you can save her when things come up it's really nice to have a 2 car garage I lucky Because my town home has a very long driveway we can fit including the garage can fit 6 cars Whereas the building next to me and the ones across the street you only could put one car 2 cars next to each other in the driveway so I have the biggest driveway love way love the feeling of owning also renting is nice but love the privacy like you said people aren't in your business Or Certain people that have habits that are not acceptable around children if you know what I mean plus plus a better quality of people when you own
Hey OnyxYTs, what an awesome goal - that's amazing! 👏🏽We saved before we put money down on our home and the amount varies by the loan type, location, and type of house you purchase (among other things). I detailed all of the costs we had to pay in this video, so feel free to check it out to get a ballpark of how much to save and when those amounts may be due: th-cam.com/video/OlMJ4snF_r8/w-d-xo.html
Hi Naomi! In sum, yes. If the owner wants to sell the property you’ll have to move to a new place (unless they sell it to you!) They should give you some type of notice, but yes, you’ll have to find a new spot to live.
@@naomirison2493 a lot of townhomes for rent are usually owned by companies the same companies who own apartments. Unless you specifically rent from a private owner you’ll be just as secure as with an apartment
"Smelling other neighbors funk"... whew!! 😂 This made me laugh, Freda! In our last apartment we smelled a LOT of funk, unfortunately. It wasn't funny at the time, but I'm laughing now remembering how upset I'd get at all the smells!

Dose this go for leasing a town house too?
It sure doe 👍🏽 but the landlord determines if they will pass any of the fees to the tenant.

I’ll see what I can do, Lex! Average townhome prices could be all over the place but average HOA fees...they are a bit more standard 👍🏽 stay tuned!

Where are these Town houses are? Are these in Calgary???
In the U.S. 😊👍🏽
I personally like town house. It private and has no one tellling you what to do etc.
we’re talking renting a town home did you leave that out
So if I live in a rented townhouse do I have to move if the owner wants to sell it?
Like living in a rented house

@@FrolicAndCourage well as far as stability I would go with a apartment

Totally agree!
Apartment and townhomes you have no privacy plus your smelling other neighbors funk
