There was something that was similar back in 2011. I was playing Dragonball Z Tenkaichi Tag Team, and on the loading screen, I'm playing someone catching stuff falling from a tree, and wherever I move my character to (like the left side, middle side, or right side of the screen), my cat would turn his head to the side I have my character in.
