My only complaint is that they removed the controllable final smashes like Giga Bowser, it felt fun being able to play as him as you were never able to do so without hacking and he was never selectable. Just feels dull now. I know they wanted to make final smashes "straight to the point" for whatever reason but it feels like fixing something that wasn't broken

What I’ve come to realise is that this game has an over abundance of Final Smash’s like Super Sonic’s, where the player just zooms across the screen really fast, like Greninja, Meta Knight, and. Pikachu/Pichu all have basically the same Final Smash

final smashes in Ultimate are incredibly lame. they used to be way more unique in the older titles, but for this title they for some reason decided to redesign most of the smashes into generic "shoot a ray infront of you" or "do a hit and activate cutscene". ending up making them boring and making characters lose some of their identity (such as Donkey Kong losing his drums in favor of a generic punch flurry, or one of the most uniqe and fan-favorite smashes such as Giga Bowser being reduced to a worse reskin of Snake's final smash from Brawl)
Steve's one is literally hilarious. He even twerks after to make fun of them like in actual Minecraft multiplayer. Nintendo really put some thought into that one.

I noticed something strange. In animal crossing, we have tom nook, Timmy, and tommy. But there is a THIRD BROTHER. If you play in the animal crossing map of smash ultimate, you can see Timmy or tommy looking at you. But if you use the final smash for villager or isabelle, Timmy and tommy are part of the final smash. That makes 3 brothers. Also, if both isabelle and villager use the final smash at the same time, then there are 5 brothers! And 2 tom nooks!
5:35: Weird, I DEFINITELY heard an elephant, but don't SEE any elephant. I wonder if any other actual recordings of animal noises made it into this game. The title has a lot of characters, but it isn't quite as impressive as it may seem because a lot of them are highly similar and share moves, which one can see occasionally here. For example, they missed out on the opportunity to include ALUCARD from SotN and instead included two whip-wielding Castlevania characters who have the same final move. Also, they included PICHU over RAICHU. That can't really be forgiven. If you aren't going to have a pokemon from a different evolutionary line, at least include Raichu over Pichu. Outrageous! Rabble rabble rabble.
I always though till a little time that Robin was saying "We're not done yet!" I always though he was saying "For Rahsalgna!" like it was his Country he was fighting or a comrade who he wanted to avenge and I really prefer my phrase than the actual one lmao. For reference it's at 13:32 It's quite hard to hear it but it's like he's not articulating his word correctly so it does this, with enough concentration you here something near the line I said.

And with all of these flashy attacks I love that the strongest is still the simplest: Critical Hit. Nothing fancy, just one strike artfully placed and you're dead before you even hit the blast zone. Not Roy's though, he couldn't help showing off. Funnily enough that one does the most damage if you catch the opponent directly *behind* you.
I just love Mii brawlers one for some reason. It is so simple, yet at the same time brutal and satisfying to watch him land that 27-29 piece chicken mc-nugget combo
I really hate how so many of them are just cutscenes. They’re cool the first time and then the epicness just gets exhausting because it’s the exact same thing every single time.
Steve should've done this for his final smash: Piston knocking someone or everyone off, then they falling down into an ancient city where multiple wardens just start coming for them and steve just eating steak.

I'm pretty sure more than half of these are either multi-strike blitzes or death rays.
And with all of these flashy attacks I love that the strongest is still the simplest: Critical Hit. Nothing fancy, just one strike artfully placed and you're dead before you even hit the blast zone.
Not Roy's though, he couldn't help showing off. Funnily enough that one does the most damage if you catch the opponent directly *behind* you.

I really hate how so many of them are just cutscenes. They’re cool the first time and then the epicness just gets exhausting because it’s the exact same thing every single time.
