Thanks for the suggestion Akash, you are really a glimmer of hope for critical thinking in these times when its needed the most! I went and watched it with my friends! It really surpassed my expectations, and both Akshay and Pankaj ji did phenomenal jobs at their roles, so did Yami as well.
It is really crucial to talk about these, and I'm so glad that this movie exists in this age. Only, its a shame I feel that we didn't get to watch the original cut. The censor board is slowly going the China and North Korea way it seems.
One thing I really loved though is how they portrayed the character of Shiva's representative. He is calm, benevolent, funny caring and innocent. Akshay really looks convincing as well.
I really wish they release the directors cut sometime!!

I also got bullied since my childhood but the worst case came up in my tenth , when no one was there to talk some positives and encourage me , honestly people laughing on you at one matter and people continuously laughing on that matter , difference is there clearly , even my coaching tutor was not in favour of me, I grew scared of my companions and stopped going anywhere , stayed at home and cried. And masturbating at toilet is a very mere thing in our school ,many guys do it , many guys had even harassed, mistreated and tried to take advantage of girls as well. Well, even if I am a guy, I was different, just because society expects you to be some way doesn't mean you have to. That's me.Bullying can't be solved even if it's so common, it's all in our mind , our behaviour, our culture, our mindset. People can stop ragging but can never stop bullying because schools expect these to be simply minuscule matter to be taken in judicial custody or something.😢
I really enjoyed the movie. I recommended the movie to my parents too. This should be available to teenagers. I was once misinformed on the subject. My father once tried and failed to explain periods to me. And i remembered some instances from my childhood which in retrospect i find funny. As a male kids we can't ask such questions to our mothers and dads are too proud to discuss the issue. Most men stay ill informed through friends. Thanks for the movie. Please go to the theaters if not for the subject go for the beautiful acting and script writing.

Just came back after watching this masterpiece. Went to see this film with my mom & mamaji. NGL they were uncomfortable but I was at awe with the entire cast & crew of this film. Must watch for teenagers
Ever heard about Brahmacharya? Do you know that our dharma prescribes Brahmacharya for students so that they can focus only upon the studies? Sex education is one thing, but promoting masturbation for students is completely in contrast to our dharma's teachings.

OMG is still stored in my HDD. But seeing the trailer of OMG 2 & finding Chandraprakash Dwivedi a part of the film, I was a little discouraged about the film. But after watching this revie, I am certainly going to watch the movie.
Made on a budget of 150 crore, it has collected around 10 crore on day 1 while Gadar 2 earned around 40 crore (as per Koimoi report)

No worries.gadar 2 will go through the same fate what Adipurush went through. Anyways apart from the core basics of gardar 2 like crappy and logic less masala action and Nationalism in terms of xenophobia, the flim in itself was bad in terms of acting, story, dialogue, direction... While OMG 2 will be like kantara. Initially it's slow but it's word of mouth is good and slowly it'll overtake gardar 2. I'm very much sure gadar 2 will hardly recover it's budget

I remember watching the first OMG in college in gujarat. Had loved it then.I remember lots of people loving it then. Why do i get the feeling this same theme will have fewer takers now. Its absoluetly brilliant movie to watch i was sceptical but now i can say it continued the legacy of OMG 1.....And ofc its meant to be seen speically by teenagers and the irony is in pune where i went 40-50% of packed theatre was of teenagers😂
I went to the theatre to watch Gadar 2 but ended up by watching OMG 2. Because my lady insisted me to watch that film. It's just an awesome movie. It's content is far better than other rom-com or actions . After watching the film I just thanked my lady for her choice.

I think this movie deserves great applause because since a long time sex education has been avoided does leading to addictions like masturbation and porn. In schools chapters related to it are generally omitted and then students are expected to know it automatically as if it is not even a natural process, same case happened with oppenhiemer movie, sir oppenhiemer was reading gita for the purpose of knoweledge so he read it while having sex, moreover when did sex become a sin in our culture and people could have taken it as a reference of how much he enjoyed reading gita that he was focused on reading shri maat bhagvat gita while having sex which is one of the most pleasurable thing for a human.
Edit: I just watched the movie he didn't even read it, his girlfriend had asked him to read Sanskrit as she got up while having sex, all those short clips were put out of context.
What if he was chanting hare Krishna while having sex?

It's a bad topic which isn't your age even if you're 18+? and If you again try to explain sex topics, then your Society and Family'll label you as Either a Sinner (Gunehgar) or As a crazy person, who's obsessed with such topics, you can't even indirectly mention those things as it was Shown in the Lipstick under my Burqa / Any other film that encourages Sex Education, That's one thing that Both Muslim & Hindu Society needs is definitely a New Education that encourages Sex Education System and The Liberal Progressive Paths, Anyways, As a Teenager who 17 years old, I'm Definitely going to watch this film with as you said Jugaad:) Anyways, loved this Review, When I first saw the Trailer of OMG-2 I thought to watch Gadar-2 in a Cinépolis near my Home, Because Gadar was one of My Childhood's Favourite Film, and I was feeling nostalgic after watching Gadar Trailer, but after this Review I'm definitely Gonna watch this OMG-2 First, And Always Question Everything!

It's great that you spoke about how people understood desire and how to handle it before whereas now people are still under the Macaulay system. It was keeping this in mind that marriages used to happen early, and they were mostly OK. Look at our grandparents for example. The first president of India was married young. Rama and Sita were around 12 and 6 when they married. But now people are expected to go through a stressful school time of exams and competiton for seats in college and not feel attracted at all at an age when it is strong without any practical lessons ob brahmacharya (celibacy), pati vrata (chastity), atma jnana (knowledge of the self or soul) and Bhagavad bhakti (loving devotion to God)
LOL, no Rama and Sita were not 12 and 6. Rama was atleast 16 when Rishi Vishwamitra requested Dashratha to send with him to stop the demons. So, he was atleast 17 and Sita atleast 13 when they met. And the marriage didn't use to consummate till the age of Grihasthashram. So, Sita didn't come to Ayodhya straightway. This ritual is called Gauna in Bihar.
By the way, Ever heard about Brahmacharya? Do you know that our dharma prescribes Brahmacharya for students so that they can focus only upon the studies? Sex education is one thing, but promoting masturbation for students is completely in contrast to our dharma's teachings.

There was a case in Tamil Nadu where a school girl gave birth to a child in a toilet and cut the umbilical chord with a pen and came back to class. I know about brahmacharya. I mentioned that in the comments. It's dangerous to have coeducation especially for girls. Boys are not as disturbed as girls at the teenage.
