A lot of people think just cuz they are watching the ad it gives them money but it's false. I've run those Hankook Z221 C30 compound tires on my track car. They take a couple laps to get heat in them... so it might be difficult getting heat in them for single runs, very slippery until then. :) They are meant to be run at 38-40psi hot.
Blanco Escondido well technically speaking the oil level sensor is not in the dash it’s generally in the oil pan. But anyways it’s just a good practice to check your oil and not to rely on the “idiot light” to illuminate. A lot of sensors won’t trigger a light until you’re way too low on oil

The car repair struggle is real i been doing it for years and i worked on a right hand drive civic that a friends kid bought and had shipped from florida i have worked on cars from utah and Colorado and ive never seen as much rusty nuts and bolts on suspension as i ran into on that car i ended up replacing all bushing and arms on it also bolts and nuts just to remove them alot of pb blaster and heating cycles have fun wrenching man keep it fun and dont rush if need walk away keep your sanity
Taylor... to avoid working against yourself while aligning the car, adjust Caster, Camber, Toe in that order. Rear first. First thing I was taught when doing alignments. I've never done it by hand though so measuring in inches versus degrees doesn't click for me yet however I still picked up a few things. You're making me feel spoiled with our alignment racks/hoists at the dealership! Otherwise keep up the good work, keep doin you man!
Yes, our whole dealership is all hunter. I'm in the Midwest US. we've got two hunter alignment racks, one automated tire mounting machine, one manual, two identical balancers, at least one hunter brake lathe

there is something in your garage that makes a very low hum. it's like some kind of interference coming from the workbench side of the garage. it was really bad when the camera was on the tool box at 20:56.
you probably destroyed the seals in those tein dampers when you spun the rod with the impact like that. there's a detent in the top of the shaft that you're supposed to grab when loosening the top nut. Might be ok but don't be surprised if those dampers die very soon, the seal at the bottom of those shafts can easily get fucked if they're spun

I was surprised when you said 83. During the summer in Arizona sometimes we get up to 115, usually 110 or 107. It’s not that terrible once you get into some shade though because we have no humidity.
Alot of great information in this video. Only thing is I thought you had to align the rear before doing the front? From what I remember the rear alignment changes the front.

Wire brush the over spray off or spray WD40 on areas around where you’re painting. The paint won’t stick then clean the area with brake clean on a rag. I hate overspray even if it can’t be seen, I have OCD.
